⚓ Wreck Story: Ulysses

Built in 1871, the British steamship Ulysses was sailing from London to the Far East when her journey ended on the reefs of Small Gubal Island in 1887 after a navigation error.

The captain believed the ship could be saved, but rough seas kept pushing her against the reef until she was beyond recovery. Eventually, Ulysses slipped beneath the surface and became one of the Red Sea’s hidden wreck treasures. 🌊

Today, the wreck rests between 4m–30m, covered in colorful corals and rich marine life, making it a must-visit for wreck lovers and underwater photographers.
