The beauty of Rarotonga 🌺

A tiny island in the middle of the Pacific that feels like another world.

Rarotonga is the main island of the Cook Islands and home to the beautiful Polynesian culture of the Cook Islands 🇨🇰

Polynesian navigators discovered and settled these islands centuries ago, crossing the Pacific using only the stars, the ocean swells, and the wind to guide them. When you stand here looking at the endless ocean, it’s hard not to imagine how incredible that must have been.

🌺 The flowers I’m wearing are called “Ei Katu” - traditional flower crowns made from fresh tropical flowers and leaves. They are often given as a symbol of love, respect, celebration, and connection to the land and the people. Wearing one makes you feel part of the island in a small but special way. ❤️
