Nancy Said Elshimi launches “My Child is an Artist” Initiative to support and develop the talents of children with special needs through Vibes Academy for Child and Mother Activities and Workshops
تسعى نانسى من خلال مبادرتها توفير الفرصة للاطفال اصحاب متلازمه داون ان ينموا مواهبهم الفنيه والرياضيه، و ذلك بتوفير مدربين متخصصين لتدريبهم على الباليه، الجمباز، ايروبيكس، رسم، موسيقى ، اشغال فنيه.
وسوف يتم المشاركه بنسبه من ارباح نشاطات المبادره لدعم اطفال ذوى قدرات خاصه الغير قادرين عن طريق جمعيات خيريه مرخصه ومسجله — وتحكى نانسى قصتها قائل: تحرير - رضوي حسني
Through the initiative, Nancy seeks to provide children with Down syndrome the opportunity to develop their artistic and sports talents, by providing specialized trainers to teach them ballet, gymnastics, aerobics, painting, music and art work.
A percentage of the proceeds will go to NGOs that support underprivileged children with special abilities. — Here is Nancy’s story
اتعودت من صغري إن لازم أكون شغوفة وناجحة في حياتي. علشان كدة بدأت أشتغل في مرحلة الثانوية، وكنت بأنزل تدريبات في شركات كتيرة لحد ما دخلت كلية التجارة، قسم انجليزي، ووقتها اشتغلت في شركة مالتي ناشيونال كبيرة، لحد ما اتخرجت، واترقيت، ونجحت أكتر في شغلي.
Since I was a child, I wanted to be successful and have passion for life. In high school I started working and training in many companies, until I finished high school. I went to the Faculty of Commerce, English section and found a job at a multinational company. I worked throughout college, and by the time I graduated, I was already promoted and successful in my job.
وبعد جوازي، وحملي اللي كنت بأعاني فيه من مشكلة صحية اضطرتني أنام لفترة طويلة على ضهري، قررت أسيب الشغل. وبالرغم من انجابي لأولادي عمر، ومالك، وزيادة مسؤولياتي إلا إني كنت دايمًا بأدور على نفسي، وشغفي في الحياة من جديد، وكنت دايمًا باسأل نفسي أنا فين؟ وإيه طموحي؟!
After I got married, I suffered some pregnancy complications that led me to bed rest and I had to quit my job. Despite having my two sons, Omar and Malek, which added to my responsibilities, I was always in search of myself and passion in life, wondering where I'm and what's my ambition?!
وعلشان كدة بدأت آخد دورات تدريبية عن طريق الانترنت في مجالات مختلفة زي التسويق، والطبخ، والمشغولات اليدوية وغيرهم كتير، على أمل إني هييجي الوقت اللي أفتح فيه مشروعي الخاص المتعلق بكل الدورات دي وغيرها.
ولما الولاد كبروا، اهتمامتهم، وأنشطتهم كترت ما بين المدرسة، النادي، ومراكز الدورات التدريبية. فكنت بأعاني من إني بضيع وقت طويل في زحمة المواصلات وكمان ما بلاقيش مكان أستناهم فيه لحد ما يخلصوا
I enrolled in many online courses in various fields such as marketing, cooking, crafts & other, hoping that might help me start a project related to all these courses in the future.
As my sons got older, they became interested in many hobbies and activities, at school, club or study centers. I wasted a lot of time driving in congested traffic and had to drive around until they finished because there were no parking spots.
ومن هنا جات لي فكرة مشروعي، وهي إني أؤسس مكان آمن لتقديم ورش العمل، والأنشطة التعليمية، والتمارين الرياضية اللي بتنمي مهارات ومواهب الأطفال بأسعار مناسبة لكل الأسر. وفي نفس الوقت يقدم ورش متنوعة للأمهات علشان تقضي وقت لطيف ومثمر لنفسها بعيدًا عن مسؤوليات الحياة. وفعلًا الفكرة اتنفذت في 2018.
That's how I got the idea of Vibes, to establish a safe place that offers workshops, educational activities and exercises to develop the children's skills and talents at affordable prices. Also, at Vibes we offer workshops for mothers t to spend enjoyable and fruitful time away from life responsibilities. In 2018 I launched my project.
والسبب في اختياري لاسم Vibesهو لإن المكان بيشع طاقات مختلفة: طاقة فنية، ورياضية، وعلمية. وهدف Vibes دايمًا إنه يساهم في تنمية المجتمع، ويساعد الأمهات والأطفال في إستكشاف نفسهم من جديد.

I selected this name which means energies, because Vibes really radiates different energies; for art, sports and scientific. It also contributes in the development of the society and helps mothers and children to rediscover themselves
At Vibes we offer many courses like ballet, kickboxing, gymnastics, Zumba, programming, languages and sewing in addition to workshops for oil painting, coal drawing, drawing portraits, decoupage and other.
