📢 ÉVÉNEMENT MAJEUR POUR LE SPORT SOURD EN AFRIQUE 🌍

Une étape historique vient d’être franchie ! 🤝

Le Président de la Confédération Africaine des Sports pour Sourds (CADS) et Membre du Comité International des Sports pour Sourds (ICSD), M. Mohamed MADOUN, a été reçu en audience par l’Honorable M. Mustapha BERRAF, Président de l'Association des Comités Nationaux Olympiques d'Afrique (ACNOA) au siège Annexe de l'ACNOA à Alger.

📌 Au cœur des discussions :
La reconnaissance officielle de la CADS comme l’unique entité souveraine pour la gestion du sport pour sourds sur le continent.

💡 Une identité propre :
Il a été réaffirmé que la CADS est une organisation indépendante du Comité Paralympique Africain. Cette distinction est essentielle et justifiée par la spécificité unique de chaque organisation sportive et des athlètes qu'elles représentent.

✨ Un soutien de taille :
L'Honorable Mustapha BERRAF a exprimé sa pleine volonté d'accompagner la CADS dans son processus d'intégration au sein de l'ACNOA. Signe fort de cet engagement : ce point sera proposé à l'ordre du jour du prochain Congrès de l'ACNOA, qui se tiendra très prochainement.
Ensemble, vers une reconnaissance pleine et entière du talent de nos athlètes sourds africains !

📢 MAJOR EVENT FOR DEAF SPORT IN AFRICA 🌍

A historic milestone has just been reached! 🤝

The President of the African Confederation of Deaf Sports (CADS) and Member of the International Committee of Deaf Sports (ICSD), Mr. Mohamed MADOUN, was received in audience by the Honorable Mr. Mustapha BERRAF, President of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) at the ANOCA Annex headquarters in Algiers.

📌 At the heart of the discussions:
The official recognition of CADS as the sole sovereign entity for the management of deaf sport on the continent.

💡 A distinct identity:
It was reaffirmed that CADS is an organization independent of the African Paralympic Committee. This distinction is essential and justified by the unique characteristics of each sports organization and the athletes they represent.

✨ Significant support:
The Honorable Mustapha BERRAF has expressed his full commitment to supporting CADS in its integration process within ANOCA. A strong sign of this commitment: this item will be on the agenda of the next ANOCA Congress, which will be held very soon. Together, towards full recognition of the talent of our African deaf athletes!
