By traveling around the island and hosting events at different beaches .Enabling them to participate and enjoy the sport regardless of their financial circumstances. Caribbean surf connection seeks to not only introduce children to the sport of surfing but also instill values such as teamwork, respect for the environment and love for the ocean.. Thank you to our contacts Eddie and Tristan of H2Ocean for having our Founder Jorge Mijares aka EL PuPijoin them at their recent event in Florida alongside supporting friend and Caribbean Surf Connection inspiration Gnarly Charley's Grom Surf Series. Charlie who helped found the Caribbean Surf Connection through his 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗳, and together with Jorge they 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗷𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀 across the country. Without them, these kids wouldn’t have these amazing opportunities 🏄‍♂️🌊

We also had the opportunity to meet with Congressman Brian Mast, who believes in the products initiative and supports the mission from the very beginning. 🇺🇸

During the visit, Jorge was able to walk through their warehouse, explore their 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲, and get a closer look at the intention behind everything they create. We appreciate the gifted demos and the warm hospitality throughout the experience ! 🤝🌿

At Caribbean Surf Connection, we believe that surfing is about more than catching waves—it's about protecting the beaches and ocean that bring us all together. 🌎💙

A huge thank you to Corito Sostenible for their continued support throughout our 2026 Junior Surf Competition Series and for helping 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗳 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. As part of our commitment to keeping our beaches clean and healthy, we will be pausing the competition for a one hour 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁 so that 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 can get involved. 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 will come together with one shared purpose: 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 for future generations. 🏖️💚

Sebastian has been surfing since he was seven years old, building years of experience and confidence in the lineup. While he enjoys all kinds of beach breaks, his favorite wave is La Bocana, where he feels most at home on a board. What excites him most about surfing series is the opportunity to win contests, share unforgettable surf sessions with friends, and proudly represent the Dominican Republic. With determination, talent, and national pride driving him forward, Sebastian is always ready for the next challenge. 🤙
