How it started in 2019 for my first Belle Trailers Ladies and Girls British Trials Championship, and how it’s going. Before going to meet all the other ladies and girls I’d only ever really ridden the conducted route Earl Shilton Trials Club with Max who was so happy when we won in 2019 and 2021, and Manchester 17 trials where I saw Margaret and Janice riding.
Massive thank you to Lionel and Grace for keeping the series alive when it looked in doubt. Sad to see you step away, but we’ll all continue what you started. Also for letting me move up whenever I feel ready to progress at my own pace. Finished my time in the Girls Expert (A class) on Saturday 🏆 and finally made the move up to the main women’s route on Sunday (I wanted to move up for this year but had to think about my packed world and Euro champs diary and manage my injured hand.
Level is about there, just need to gain a little more strength through the winter.
