Historic Rallye Team Zacher/Rachner Nach ca. 25 Jahren Abstinenz wollen wir nochmal so richtig durchstarten - wahlweise mit einem Renault R5 GT turbo oder einem Ford Escord MK2 1600 sport.

Wir werden über hier über unsere Einsätze berichten und auch über einiges von damals. Wir freuen uns über eine wachsende Fan Gemeinschaft und über Sponsoren.

On 11.8. We launched into the adventure rally in hate to barnaya kupa (pecs and komló). After approx. 1000 km journey, we have our hotel, together with the team of gassner motorsport (thanks to Karin for the book). The Friday then began with the collection of the roadbook and the GPS device, which to tracking and monitoring reasons in the Reece-car had to be installed. The first "paperwork" stood before us. The organizers and our president and party manager welcomed us in Hungary and - pow - we had our roadbook and GPS, without any major concerns that we had in the run-up and thought it was the call of the rally whopping 48 pages long and everything under punishment - So money.
After a little stopover at the hotel, it was then also with the visit / Reece Los. On the program there were only 3 WP's (8,85/9,35/18,3 km), which were 3 x dangers, although of course the short wp's each drove in the opposite direction. The Wp's were for us not so demanding, sometimes very selective but also with long straights and full throttle passages. The 18-km-wp had it in him, with very narrow streets, the many large and deep holes had, as well as in part again very fast sections as well as winding.
After the documentary decrease survived easily and quickly, was to be the technical acceptance. Also the was no problem, there were only the helmet and the suit and controlled, the car weighed. There was a decrease for the schedule, of course, to be respected under penalty for failure to comply. Punishment was there but not, therefore, we were confident on what we can expect at the rally should go.
The first service, the our "service maid" Karsten absolutely topp has been resolved, found in pecs instead of-30 km from the opening round course for the audience in komló. As it was, it was completed in pecs then right up, 3 x 9,25 km and in between always service. Was probably a good thing, since we have unfortunately had to leave a cylinder, thus the oil consumption rapidly to top shot, then he is still the tank venting had solved and luckily before the service in the tank, as far as expired, that was a start of the car not More was possible. Well was the last loop, 2 WP's over 27 km and CA. 60 km link stage on the program. Many have said that we should leave the car to institutions to prevent engine damage. I, too, was rather to "give up", stand still at least 3 runs in front of us and with still a broken motor is that tight. We will have with uli our chances are investigated and we decided for the drive, slowly but surely into the goal. It resembled a zitterpartie and the nerves on both sides were more than a plank. No matter what, the car must not be allowed to go out, then there would have been all over. The first link stage and wp we had behind us, well were 11 km link stage in front of us, for which we had time for 26 min. So "sneak", so that we can control the time not to have to stand for a long time. At this time we were on the 4. Overall. The Bill went on and exactly to our stamp time we were at the central committee. There was bernhard brink with his lancia delta and understood the weld no more. His car just didn't start, despite all the trials and the in the lead. But we had our own worries, wp and link stage. So come on, we have the power, like the others before that already, careful and as a 3 cylinder race car with the corresponding speed. Sigh of relief in the aim of the wp, done - in theory. Overall 3 at the mrc historic, but the car still had to the destination (ZK) and to the parc ferme. So another 31,5 km link tremble stage.
The goal has been achieved and we could us, yes even if on the basis of failures, which unfortunately to our sport, including, but not planning are secure, the class victory and the 3. Total place in the mrc days swertung.
Here again a big thank you to Karsten for his dedication and of course to uli, whose optimism with responsible for this outcome was.
Thus we can go on a "chaotic" but at the end of positive developments rally weekend in Hungary.
Now it is the rest of the engine -, ignition and carburetor problems still in to get the handle, so that we can for the next 3 events to be able to build on our success ((rally alpi orientali - italy - nova gorica, Slovenia and the 3 - cities in passau / Bavaria). ^

Wir suchen für unser Auto noch 1-2 interessierte Schrauber für Serviceeinsätze im Rahmen des Mitropa Rallye Cup, aber auch mal für Schraubereinsätze in der heimischen Garage. Die Rallyeeinsätze belaufen sich meistens auf 2-3 Tage plus Wochenende. Gefahren wird in Österreich, Slowenien, Ungarn, Kroatien, Italien und in Bayern. Wer also Interesse hat, oder jemanden kennt darf sich gern bei uns melden ( ob über PN oder persönlich mal in der Garage) ist egal. Dieses Jahr stehen noch Rallyes in Ungarn (12. - 15.8.), Italien (24.8. -29.8.), Slowenien (7.9. - 10.9.) sowie in Passau vom 19.10. - 22.10.) auf dem Plan. Die Termine für 2017 können wir dann im Dezember bekannt geben. Danke und Grüße
