Thunderstorms All Night Under a Tarp Shelter - Bushcraft Camp & Genius Multi Person Stove

A peaceful bushcraft camping adventure turns into an unforgettable thunderstorm camp deep in the forest.

In this trip, I head into the woods during rainy weather and set up a large plow point shelter using a 3 x 4.5 m tarp. Just after finishing camp, a powerful thunderstorm rolls in, allowing me to enjoy the incredible sights and sounds of nature from the comfort of my shelter.

Once the storm passes, I venture into the forest to find the perfect piece of wood for a very special camp stove design. This unique stove can also be transformed into a multi-person cooking station, making it ideal for group camps and outdoor gatherings.

As evening arrives, I prepare a delicious dinner, relax beside my shelter, and listen as another thunderstorm sweeps through the forest during the night. The next morning begins with birdsong, fresh air, and the satisfaction of leaving no trace before heading home fully recharged.

I Built a Shelter Nobody Has Ever Seen Before... Then Carved a Wolf in the Wild

I headed deep into the woods for a bushcraft overnight with two goals: build a truly unique tarp shelter and attempt something I've never carved before—a wolf requested by one of you in the comments.

After setting up camp and creating an unusual shelter design, I settled in for a relaxing evening of carving, cooking a delicious wilderness dinner and enjoying a peaceful night surrounded by nature.

Alone in a Mossy Forest During Non Stop Rain - Tarp Shelter Overnight

Deep in a remote forest covered in moss, blueberry bushes, and dead spruce trees, I set up a fully enclosed tarp shelter before a night of nonstop rain arrives.

With no trails to follow, I move through the wilderness by reading the forest around me — studying the terrain, the trees, the wet ground, and the hidden paths nature creates. Along the way, I share my thoughts out loud while exploring this beautiful and eerie landscape.

After the hike, I cook a warm dinner beside the shelter and settle in for a cozy overnight as rain pours through the forest all night long. The next morning brings a difficult climb through slippery roots, soaked ground, and fallen wood as I make my way back out of the wild.

Hanging Poncho Shelter Overnight - Firewood & 5 Minute Dinner

Spent the night deep in a jungle-like forest using a simple hanging poncho shelter setup with a hammock, sleeping bag, and poncho liner underquilt.

After collecting firewood from a hanging dead tree, I cooked a simple but delicious 5 minute dinner over the fire and settled in for a quiet overnight surrounded by forest sounds and nature.

The next morning brought clear skies, warm sunlight, and one of those perfect peaceful mornings in the woods.

I Tested a Unique Tarp Shelter in POURING Rain & Thunder

A peaceful overnight in the forest quickly turned into a serious weather test.
In this adventure, I head into the woods to build a very unique tarp shelter and put it to the test during a heavy rainstorm with thunder, lightning, and pouring rain.

After the storm finally passes, I explore the forest searching for dead trees that could become future chainsaw carvings and good firewood. Back at camp, I cook a delicious calzone using a simple DIY oven made from stones and a cooking pot.

The night ends with a quiet sleep under the tarp as rain echoes through the forest. In the morning, I pack up, leave no trace, and hike back out of the wilderness.

Extreme Bushcraft: Trash Bag Shelter vs Violent Wind

I went into the woods with one unusual survival idea: using nothing but trash bags as my shelter and bed.

What started as a simple bushcraft experiment quickly turned into a serious survival test when strong winds rolled in. Trees were falling just a few hundred meters away, and my makeshift setup was pushed to its limits.

Could a few plastic bags actually get me through the night?

Along the way, I baked fresh bread over the fire and made one of the biggest sandwiches I’ve ever had in the wild—but the night was anything but comfortable.
