Joined the Air Time Paragliding Sport Paragliding Introweekend in Sauerland (Germany) last weekend. I already have my license, but wanted to make sure a friend of mine went, so maybe we can fly together one day.. 😉

My paramotor glider license just arrived in the mail! 😃

I passed my paramotor practical exam! 🥳
After demonstrating a few maneuvers I managed to convince the examiner of my airworthiness 😉. Since I already passed the theoretical exam, I can now apply for the PGL License and fly on my own.

My first non-motorized flights this year being winched in Houten and making sure my free-flight gear still works after being stored since last year. 😉 Only short flights as I wasn't able to catch any thermals, but fun and good practice nonetheless!

During my 5th and 6th paramotor training flights my motor died unexpectedly. These were great examples of why you always have to look out for landing options while flying as you never know when this might happen...

A nice evening to fly around Bodegraven (NL). Made my first small flight plan as part of my paramotor training and decided to fly around the city. Flew under the CTR of Schiphol airport and it sometimes felt like we were flying with the big birds as Boeings and Airbuses were relatively close as they flew overhead.

A quick vlog-style impression of an afternoon organized by Air Time Paragliding Sport to practice throwing a reserve. They provided lots of useful information on how and when to use it and demonstrated how to fold it.
I highly recommend practicing this to get more familiar with your reserve and be better prepared should you ever need to throw it for real 😱
