Absolutely insane day of triathlon racing … The bar continues to be raised! Inspired by some unbelievable performances out there yesterday. Personally a sub par swim set up an incredibly tough day but I am proud of my fight to the end. Finishing in 6th while not my goal I was happy enough and highly motivated to get back to work. Special shout out to and for showing everyone just how fast a triathlon can be raced!

Ever get the feeling someone’s following you? 🤣

Very average swim and run for me 70.3 Aix en Provence but I was proud of my bike effort. Lead off the bike was the highlight. Hopefully I can build on that form leading into Roth.

Wet and wild day out in southern France. 70.3 Aix en Provence was everything I had hoped for and more! What a beautiful part of the world. Incredibly average swim for me left a lot of work to do. Fought back on the bike using the hills and technical wet descents to my advantage, eventually bridging back to leader … potentially not the smartest strategy from us trading blows on the bike instead of working together. But that’s how we love to race, hard off the front so I don’t regret a thing. showed that form is temporary but class is permanent, fastest bike of the day for him and set up an exciting run battle. boxed the smartest and dropped an incredible 1:07 half marathon on a tough course to take the tape, well done to him. Bart held on for second and I rounded out the podium in 3rd. Shout out to Matty for a brave race bringing it home in 4th. Super fun battle, excited to keep the progress building towards my big goal at the end of the season.

Happy birthday to my beautiful wife 🥰 always happiest in the mountains! I couldn’t ask for a more supportive wife or loving mother to our child. You mean the world to us my angel! 2023 season is well and truly underway! Disappointing result in Ibiza but a chance to redeem myself this coming weekend at IM 70.3 Aix en Provence.

Andorra has been treating us well, the locals are very accommodating. even has me on the IM Hamburg training program (which I am not racing 🤣)

Good vibes heading into race weekend, might even spoil ourselves with some wine tasting post race! 🥂
