16.05.2026. Blues vs Dresden CC, a Low scoring game but full of Roller coaster, Arslan Zahid leading with his magical spin bowling taking 4 wickets, supported By Aslam, AKA Kashi, grabbing 3 wickets, Bowling them Out for 96. Chasing the target seems easy but fall of wickets making it impossible but a sensible inning from Saqib jadoon and Dr Jamil takes the victory out of Opponents hand with support by Ehtisham and Harsha at the end.

17.05.2026, Blues Vs SSC Jena,

Another Low Scoring game: The start was good despite an early wicket but Saqib Mehmood Jaddon played an incredible anchor innings. Although the target still seems to be achievable for SSC Jena, but Blues bowlers out classed them.
SSC Jena tried hard but gradual fall of wickets never let them to gain control of game. Good length bowling by Muhammad Aslam, Omer Minhajj-ud-deen and Ehtsham Janjua paved the way for other bowlers to rip through Jena’s batting line up. But the real Game changer was Jamil-ur- Rehman with his exceptional bowling in mid overs with 24-4 in 4 overs. Towards the end 9 runs for SSC Jena and a wicket for D3C could end that battle of nerves. A magical delivery by Arslan Zahid and super natural stumping by keeper Nouman led D3C blues way to unforgettable victory.

In the End Both Days Player of The Match Dr Jamil ur Rehman a day with bat and other with the Bowl.

A commanding all-round performance seals a stunning and impressive victory against USG Spartans. Clinical bowling by Ehtsham Janjua, 4-20.
Chasing target of 161 wasn’t easy but explosive batting by Arslan Zahid led Blues team chasing difficult target easy. Scoring 93 on just 29 balls showing Spartans who the real Boss is. Earning him Player of the Match.
Domination against the opposition.
What a win! Hopeful to witness such performances more often throughout the season.

The first cricket match of the season between Dresden Challengers Greens and Blues — a much-anticipated club derby — turned out to be an absolute nail-biter.

Batting first, the Blues looked firmly in control, cruising to 86 for 3 and setting themselves up for a big total. However, the Greens’ bowlers had other plans. In a dramatic turnaround, they pulled things back brilliantly, claiming the remaining seven wickets for just 38 runs and bowling the Blues out for 121. The standout performer was Faisal, who ripped through the middle order with a fiery spell, picking up four crucial wickets in quick succession to halt the momentum.

Chasing 121, the Greens came out all guns blazing. Mohsin led the charge early on, threatening to take the game away with an aggressive start. Just when it seemed like the chase would be straightforward, Arslan turned the game on its head with a sensational bowling performance, finishing with five wickets and putting the Greens under immense pressure.

What followed was a tense and gripping chase. Small but vital partnerships kept the Greens in the hunt as wickets continued to fall. In the end, it came down to the last pair, who held their nerve to see the team home and seal a memorable victory.

It was a fitting start to the season — a game that had everything. Both teams deserve applause for turning what could have been a routine match into a thrilling, edge-of-the-seat contest.

We are thrilled to share the successful completion of the 3rd Challengers Tapeball Indoor Cricket Tournament! What an incredible day of cricket, sportsmanship, and energy from start to finish.

👏 Finals Result
🥇 USG Chemnitz emerged as the champions with a fantastic performance in the finals.
🥈 SSC Jena, the 2025 Challengers Cup winners, finished as worthy runners-up after a strong campaign.

This memorable tournament was made possible by the participation of 10 competitive teams with over 100 players, who traveled from Berlin, Jena, Chemnitz, Freiburg, and Cottbus. Your passion and commitment truly made this event special.

A special shoutout to Manish Nanda Kumar from USG Chemnitz, whose outstanding all-round performance stole the show and earned him the majority of the trophies on the day. Truly well deserved!

The Dresden Challengers Cricket Club, in cooperation with SAX Vermögensberatung, proudly organized the first-ever Kids Cricket Tournament in Dresden – and what a success it was! 🎉

Around 50 young cricketers under 14 took part, divided into two age groups, and played exciting matches full of energy, talent, and joy. 🙌 The atmosphere was electric, with families cheering, kids smiling, and cricket bringing everyone together. 💛💙

Dresden Challengers witnessed an electrifying clash between Challengers Greens 🟢 & Challengers Blues 🔵 yesterday!

Batting first, Greens set a 191 on the board 💪 thanks to a sensational 107-run stand between Ali (59 off 50, all over the park ✨) and Krishna (30 off 54, rock-solid anchor 🛡️).
For the Blues, Naeem was on fire 🔥 with a fifer (5️⃣ wickets).

In reply, Blues stumbled early at 33/4 😱 before Ans & Nauman’s 99-run partnership brought the game back to life. The chase was on but they eventually fell short by just 20 runs.

⭐ The show-stealer: Haider with a fiery 5-wicket haul 💥 that sealed the derby for the Greens!
