The future home of the Jacksonville Jaguars is starting to take shape. 🏟️🔥
Construction at EverBank Stadium is moving fast, with massive steel trusses now surrounding the stadium as work begins on the iconic new canopy roof. Once completed, the canopy and new green areas are expected to reduce heat retention by more than 70%, creating a cooler and more comfortable experience for fans in Florida’s intense climate. 🌴☀️
Work is also underway on the new 360-degree concourse, upgraded seating bowl, scenic corner decks and major interior renovations. The redesigned stadium will hold around 63,000 fans, expandable to 70,000+ for major events and concerts.
Designed by HOK, the $1.4 billion transformation aims to turn EverBank Stadium into a modern year-round destination inspired by the city of Jacksonville itself, featuring elevated walkways, river views and a subtropical park-style entrance.
Instead of demolishing the entire structure, much of the original stadium is being preserved to reduce environmental impact while adding modern technology, premium spaces and new fan experiences.
The Jaguars are expected to continue playing there in 2026 with reduced capacity before temporarily relocating in 2027.
The new Stadium of the Future is scheduled to open in 2028. 👀🔥
