Last weekend I went to Wall2Wall Festival RSO.BERLIN .
And if you’ve followed my journey for a bit, you might know: this event is a special one to me.
Not only because it made me fall in love with RSO but also because it marked my first booking there with RE:SET Berlin — a major milestone for my newly founded business.
Back then, it was by far my biggest job yet. I cooked for hours, barely slept - and still had a few dances in between.
It was exhausting.
But the most special thing happened after: people started talking about my food in the RSO community Telegram group.
Little did I know what that weekend would set in motion.
From then on, I was there with my Groove Kitchen every Sunday throughout the summer, later at events over fall and winter as well. And because people would never only find me at my food stall but also on the dance floor, I quickly became part of the community myself.
What I built at RSO — and the impact it had on the people there — is something I’m incredibly proud of and a major proof of concept.
This year though, things changed.
My Groove Kitchen is no longer part of the RSO club experience — one reason being my current health situation.
So last weekend was my first Wall2Wall as a completely private person. No food stall. No responsibility. No role to fill. Just a ticket, a dance floor, the music and a community I had once become part of through my work.
Honestly, I was a little anxious about it.
And there definitely were moments that forced me to put the new reality into words, and they came with a little pinch in my heart. But those very same encounters reminded me how much people remembered me even months or years later, introducing me “the girl who saved me with a shake”.
It made me realize that what I built there didn’t disappear just because my role did.
A full circle moment, with a slightly heavy heart — but an incredibly full one.
Last weekend I got to experience Wall2Wall again — not as the person taking care of everyone’s wellbeing, but simply as someone who loves the club, its music and, most of all, its community.
Thank you, people of RSO, for making it so easy for me to find my way back. 💜
