"There is nothing special about my life.."

👉🏻 I used to tell my coach there was nothing I had to say because my story didn't feel *special* enough.

I didn't overcome a crazy health condition, leave a toxic abusive relationship, haven't made crazy money (by that point) or anything remotely worth sharing. OR SO I THOUGHT....

One day she got sufficiently mad at me and shared a laundry list of all the insane things I've done.

I was shocked 😳
she was right
I just couldn't see it

📣 It wasn't that I didn't have a story to tell...
❌ it's that I didn't believe it was worth telling

And THAT was the real problem.

It wasn’t about “better messaging.”
It wasn’t about the right storytelling formula.
It was about feeling like my story was actually worth telling.
It was about SEEING MYSELF.

And when you see yourself?

I would be ok.

I have created such a full rounded, gorgeous life I absolutely love that even if my business seized to exist, I wouldn’t think less of myself.

If I never achieved “anything”, I would feel whole and complete. Proud of myself. Not because I have a stack of “noteworthy” accomplishments I could not-so-casually drop and people would be impressed (although I do) but just because of who I am.

Yesterday, when I was driving from the playground with my daughter I thought.… We spent 45 min on a swing. Swinging back and forth. There was nothing epic about it. I was wearing a $5 t-shirt and $10 Walmart jeans. No make up on. And there was no other place I would have rather been.

Last night, my husband came home 30 min earlier than I expected him from a weekend away and we did nothing. We just sat on the bed, ate the lemon bundt cake I made from a box and I was talking his head off as he was trying NOT to fall asleep after 6 hrs+ of flying. (He’s an Air Force pilot ✈️)

So if my business just disappeared and I could never do it again… I would be sad but there would be so much RICHness in my life…

And creating from *this* space, is why I am so good at what I do.

✨ I don’t *need* the star clients to feel like I am doing good in the world (yet I do have them).
✨ I don’t *need* to make x amount of money to feel worthy or like what I do matters (yet I have surpassed many milestones most people in business never do and the lives I changed blow my mind daily )
✨ I don’t *need* this or that month to be a certain way.

But I love this. I love this work.

This is how ICONs are born.
They don’t *need* anything…
But they get it all.

The question that kept me stuck for MONTHS that *you* are asking yourself probably daily... 👀

"why is it not me?"

I kept wondering why everyone and their mother kept surpassing me, making $10K, $20K, $30K months... while I was stuck at $400.

The question kept me stuck. NOT because it's not good to be introspective. But because it stemmed from unconscious belief that in fact, I must NOT be good enough. Or at least as good as "them".

UNTIL

I draw the line.

And changed this question to:

"there is literally not a reason why tf NOT me" 💅🏻

I started seeing myself as the icon, as the go-to person, as the person people ask "but how did you do it".

And so they did.
I sold out my private coaching + a mastermind in 6 weeks from opening the doors. When previously I only had *1* person in a mastermind.
