Its the last week of school term and summer schools dont start until the 22nd, so just the one ride from me this week as daddydaycare takes over!

Regular Shop ride on Tuesday programme is interrupted by the Ride Easy - Universal Colours Paphos Ride

Its the standard Shop Ride route to Aphrodite Rock and return back to the harbour, the pace will be slowed down from the usual shop ride speed.

Tue 16/06/2026 - 0700 RE/UC Ride - Ride Easy Shop - 55km, 30km/h avg - Aphrodite Rock

Normal shop ride resumes, 23/06 with the Nata Climb route.

Unfortunately I cannot ride on Wednesday this week, so no coffee ride.

To make up for the lack of coffee on Wednesday, Friday is the big one. To The Top, Paphos - Olympus (1952m) and back.

Tue 09/06/2026 - 0700 Shop Ride - Ride Easy Shop - 55km, 36km/h avg - Aphrodite Rock

Fri - 05/06/2026 - 0600 - Ride Easy Shop - 160km, 25km/h, Mt Olympus. Steady ride and climb to the top and return, its about 4hrs up and 2.30 back down, 55km climb to 1952m, will stop half way up around Platres for water (elevation not duration half way)

Adding 2 extra water stops into the ride tomorrow, both in Polis, on the way out after the descent and then on the way back before the climb, just quick 5 mins

Wed 03/06/2026 - 0800 Coffee Ride - Ride Easy Shop - Kouklia 50-60km, 28km/h avg

Fri - 05/06/2026 - 0700 St Georges Junction, Chloraka - 0815 Fitos Tavern, Kathikas - 0700 meet for the faster climbers, or meet at Fitos Tavern in Kathikas at 0815 allowing you to climb at you own pace. - Ride is to Pachyammos, 125km, 1800m - a generally flat ride apart from 2 x 10km (600m) climbs

Tue 26/05/2026 - 0700 Shop Ride - Ride Easy Shop - 50km, 30km/h avg - Nata - The Climbing one, we regroup at the Junction for Nata after the climb - come give it a try.

Wed 27/05/2026 - 0830 Coffee Ride - Ride Easy Shop - Kouklia 50-60km, 28km/h avg

Fri - 29/05/2026 - 0800 Group Ride - Ride Easy Shop - Omodos - 115km, 1800m 28km/h avg, will regroup at Agios Nikoloas at the top of the main climb (9km @ 6% avg) then ride the Geopark round to Omodos as a group.

Note: Wednesday ride start from Ride Easy Shop - going to try and avoid the traffic lights and traffic getting through Tomb of Kings, there is parking behind the shop or around any of the side streets.

Wed 13/05/2026 - 0830 Coffee Ride - Ride Easy Shop - Kouklia 50-60km, 28km/h avg
Fri - 15/05/2026 - 0800 Group Ride - Paps Bakery Tremithousa - Lysos - 85km - 2000m+ - 25km/h avg - This ride is hilly, to ease that you can meet the group at 0830 at the Minthis Junction past Tsada or 0845 in Polemi - meeting in Polemi will cut about 1000m and 20km off the ride distance. (The meeting points will be clearly marked and pinned as locations in the Strava Route)

It might be a very UK Bank Holiday weekend in the Med, wet and windy!! But its not unusual for this weekend to be wet on the Island, last roll of the dice for Spring before the heat!

Weather forecast for the rides this week is excellent, sunny and warm.

Next Sunday is the Inex Charity rides in Limassol, we will be doing the 100km option (https://inex.club/charity2026).
