Grab a beach paddle, surf, skate, ride, dig your feet into that hot sand, dive into that endless deep blue. If we were to put a number next to the classic "EST" cliché, we would probably write 2016, but that would be an understatement. See, this passion for everything beach, sea, surf, island, has been brewing inside us ever since we learned how to walk.

Ten years🌞

A strange thing to write.

What started as a few ideas, a handful of sketches, too much coffee and more optimism than common sense somehow made it this far.
There were good years. There were hard years. There were moments when everything felt possible and moments when it felt like the whole thing might come apart at the seams. Collections that worked. Collections that didn’t. Delays. Mistakes. Lessons. Thousands of hours that nobody sees.

But standing the other day, looking around, none of that felt like the real story.

The real story was you💙

Friends who have been with us since the beginning. People who discovered us last month. Kids running around the street. Old faces. New faces. Hugs that lasted longer than they should. Conversations that picked up exactly where they left off years ago.
For all the talk about clothes, design, logos and collections, if we were forced to measure success by one thing only, it wouldn’t be sales or growth or any number on a spreadsheet.

It would be this.

A street full of people who genuinely care. People who found a piece of themselves in what we do and, in return, gave a piece of themselves back to us.
That has always been the fuel. The reason. The inspiration.
Not fashion. Not trends.

People.

Thank you for the love, the support, the criticism, the patience, the encouragement and for believing in this strange little thing called ACEPLAYMORE.

Ten years in and we’re still here.
Still making things. Still learning.
Still dreaming.
And most importantly, still bringing good people together.
