Turtle nest excavation here this morning at DWSC!

Here at DWSC we have the privilege to help with turtle conservation by tracking and protecting their nests.
We also have to excavate and keep track of numbers that have hatched and the unfortunate ones that haven’t.

Today we saw the end of the turtle season with better results then last with 29 total nests, 1509 eggs laid and
710 hatched.

Thanks for all the support helping to keep our turtles safe

This Saturday we are having our first women’s wakeboarding morning at DWSC! 🏄‍♀️
⏱️
Timings:
0730 for an opening introduction
0750 split into groups for those who need a land lesson.
0800 activities starts rotating riders
1000 all back on land for closing remarks and prize giving.
