TSS THE SUPER SERIES BY B-QUIK: SATURDAY REPORT
A very decent start to the racing year for B-Quik Absolute Racing as we put three cars on the GT3 podium in second, third and fifth overall all our crews off the points scoring mark and at the same time rack up a decent helping of Teams’ points.
It could have been very different as it all went off at Turn 1 on lap 1 seconds after the green lights when on but once the race settled down there was a strong recovery drive from Iaro and Sandy after that first corner melee left the #888 Audi limping to the pits with a broken wheel. The two drivers though turned in a strong race, never slowing at all, to plant the car on the final step of the podium.
Best placed finisher was the #26 Porsche. Starting from the back after missing qualifying yesterday Henk got stuck in and handed the car over to Alessandro with excellent track position as the young official Porsche driver made his TSS debut with us.
The Frenchman, who only arrived in Buriram on Thursday night and had just a handful of laps in the car yesterday, made light of all that unfamilarity to take over the car and continue the good work, climbing to P2 at the end of the 1 hour race. Amazing work by Henk and Alessandro and P2 was a just reward.
It also keeps up an incredible run: Henk has planted this car on the podium in every race he’s driven in it. It was also the first time it’s ran in the new “EVO” specification.
Daniel and Max in the #27 were very evenly matched. They started on GT3 AM pole and kept the class lead to the finish, winning the AM category and following the #26 Porsche over the line to make it a very tight 2-3 finish.
Now it’s on to tomorrow’s Race 2 and another shot at glory!

เปิดฉากฤดูกาลได้อย่างยอดเยี่ยมสำหรับ B-Quik Absolute Racing หลังพารถแข่งขึ้นโพเดียมคลาส GT3 ได้ถึง 3 คัน โดยสามารถจบในอันดับที่ 2, 3 และ 5 โอเวอร์ออล พร้อมเก็บคะแนนสะสมประเภททีมประเดิมฤดูกาลใหม่
อย่างไรก็ตาม เกมการแข่งขันเกือบพลิกตั้งแต่โค้งแรกทันทีหลังไฟเขียว เมื่อเกิดเหตุชุลมุนหนักที่บริเวณ T1 ส่งผลให้รถ Audi หมายเลข 888 ของ Iaro และ Sandy ได้รับความเสียหายที่ล้อจนต้องเข้าพิตแบบฉุกเฉิน แต่หลังจากสถานการณ์เริ่มนิ่งลง ทั้งคู่ก็โชว์หัวใจนักสู้ ไล่ทำเวลาคืนอย่างต่อเนื่องแบบไม่มีผ่อน ก่อนพารถกลับขึ้นมาบนโพเดียมได้สำเร็จ
ส่วนผลงานดีที่สุดของทีมในเรซนี้เป็นของ Porsche หมายเลข 26 แม้จะต้องออกสตาร์ตจากท้ายกริดหลังพลาดรอบควอลิฟายเมื่อวาน แต่ Henk ก็ขับไล่แซงอย่างดุดัน ก่อนส่งไม้ต่อใหักับ Alessandro นักขับโรงงานของ Porsche ที่ลงแข่งรายการ TSS กับทีมเป็นครั้งแรก
นักขับชาวฝรั่งเศสเพิ่งเดินทางถึงบุรีรัมย์เมื่อคืนวันพฤหัสบดี และมีโอกาสสัมผัสรถเพียงไม่กี่รอบเมื่อวานนี้ แต่เจ้าตัวก็ปรับตัวได้อย่างรวดเร็ว สานต่อผลงานจาก Henk ได้อย่างยอดเยี่ยม ก่อนพารถไต่ขึ้นมาจบอันดับ 2 หลังผ่านการแข่งขัน 1 ชั่วโมงเต็ม ถือเป็นผลงานสุดน่าประทับใจของทั้งคู่
นอกจากนี้ Henk ยังรักษาสถิติสุดร้อนแรงเอาไว้ได้ต่อไป หลังพารถคันนี้ขึ้นโพเดียมได้ทุกเรซที่ลงแข่งขัน และยังเป็นการแข่งขันครั้งแรกของรถคันดังกล่าวในสเปกใหม่ “EVO” อีกด้วย
ด้าน Daniel และ สถาพร ในรถหมายเลข 27 ก็ทำผลงานได้อย่างสม่ำเสมอ ทั้งคู่เริ่มต้นเรซจากตำแหน่งโพลของรุ่น GT3 AM และรักษาตำแหน่งผู้นำของคลาสไว้ได้จนจบเกม คว้าชัยในรุ่น AM ไปครอง พร้อมเข้าเส้นชัยตามหลัง Porsche 26 มาติด ๆ ส่งให้ทีมคว้าอันดับ 2 และ 3 มาแบบหายใจรดต้นคอ
หลังผ่านวันเสาร์อันเข้มข้น ตอนนี้เป้าหมายต่อไปคือการแข่งขัน Race 2 ในวันอาทิตย์ และยังเป็นอีกหนึ่งโอกาสในการลุ้นโพเดียมอีกครั้ง!
