Not every good deal gets listed publicly.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve sorted through part of our tungsten inventory and found quite a few items still tied to earlier raw material costs.

Some are limited quantities.
Some are overstock.
Some are simply opportunities we’d rather offer directly to serious buyers before the market catches up again.

If you’re currently buying tungsten weights, jig materials, or related products for the U.S. market, feel free to reach out.

The pricing might genuinely surprise you.

No pressure — just an honest conversation between people in the industry.

The recent pullback in tungsten powder feels more like a market reset than a true collapse.

A lot of the earlier rally was driven by fear, tight supply, and geopolitical uncertainty. Now the market is digesting inventory and slowing consumption, so short-term pressure is understandable.

But structurally, the world is changing.

AI infrastructure, semiconductors, defense, EVs, and advanced manufacturing all continue pushing demand for strategic materials like tungsten.

Personally, I don’t think we’re going back to the old “cheap tungsten” era again.

Short-term volatility is normal.
Long-term scarcity is the bigger story.

Been following how REDCREST played out this week.

What stood out wasn’t who won —
but how the game is quietly shifting.

More emphasis on efficiency.
Faster bottom contact.
Quicker reads on structure.
Less wasted casts.

It’s subtle, but under real-time scoring formats,
those small edges seem to matter more than ever.

Curious if others are seeing similar patterns on the water.

[2026 Supply Chain Reality] From $ to $$$: It’s no longer about price. It’s about survival.

Lately I’ve been having the same conversation over and over again with different fishing brands.
“Should we buy now… or just wait a bit longer?”
And honestly — I get it.
If I didn’t see what’s happening upstream, I might think the same way.
But here’s what I’ve been seeing behind the scenes…
Tungsten prices didn’t just go up.

They completely changed the game.
What used to be a “material cost” is now the entire cost structure.
Factories I’ve worked with for years are starting to slow down…

Some are even stepping out because they simply can’t carry the raw material cost anymore.
And the strange part?
Most brands are still watching the price chart, waiting for it to “come down”.
But the real shift isn’t price.
It’s supply.
Fishing is no longer the main player in tungsten.

We’re competing with semiconductors, defense, and solar now.
Which means — by the time prices “feel acceptable” again…

there might not be much inventory left to buy.
I’m not saying “buy now” or “don’t wait”.
But I will say this:
The brands I see moving early right now

are not the ones trying to predict the lowest price.
They’re the ones quietly:

– locking in their core SKUs

– simplifying their product lines

– securing supply before peak season hits
And maybe that’s the real difference this year.
Not who gets the best price.

But who actually has product when the market needs it.
Just something I’ve been thinking about lately.
Curious how others are seeing it from your side.

Tungsten powder in China has stayed around 2400 RMB/kg for the last 3 days.

After months of almost daily increases…
the market suddenly paused.

A year ago the price was about 350 RMB/kg.

Now many brands are doing the same thing:

• Selling through old inventory
• Waiting to see where the market goes
• Or quietly securing raw material

In commodities, pauses like this are always interesting.

Sometimes it means the market is stabilizing.

Sometimes it’s just the moment before the next move.

What are you seeing on your side?

Tungsten talk has changed fast. It’s less “who’s cheapest” and more “who can actually supply.” A customer told me: prices on the material side are at levels they’ve never seen — and while demand hasn’t slowed much yet, they feel it’s coming.
My take: the market is splitting. Tournament/serious anglers stick with tungsten for performance, while recreational buyers drift back to lead when retail prices jump.
For shops/brands, the move isn’t to overstock everything — it’s to protect a few core tungsten SKUs so shelves don’t go dark in Q1.
