The African Dodgeball Confederation (CAD), led by its President, Yao Marie Josiane, together with the Congolese Dodgeball Federation (FENADOC), represented by its President, Ariane M’Baki, were received in audience by Didier Budimbu Ntubwanga, Minister of Sports and Leisure of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

This institutional and diplomatic meeting formed part of efforts to strengthen sports cooperation between African dodgeball governing bodies and the Congolese sports authorities. Discussions focused on the promotion and development of dodgeball in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and across the African continent, the presentation of the pan-African project D4DA – Dodgeball For Development in Africa, as well as prospects for organizing competitions and youth training programs.

During the meeting, Mrs. Yao Marie Josiane commended the commitment of the Congolese authorities toward the structuring and promotion of emerging sports disciplines. She also reaffirmed the willingness of the African Dodgeball Confederation to support the Democratic Republic of the Congo in its efforts to professionalize and enhance the visibility of African dodgeball.

For her part, Mrs. Ariane M’Baki, who also serves as Central Africa Representative of the CAD, presented the progress achieved by the Congolese Dodgeball Federation while highlighting the challenges related to athlete supervision, the popularization of the discipline, and the organization of national and regional sporting activities.

In a symbolic gesture reflecting African fraternity and cultural heritage, the President of the CAD presented His Excellency the Minister with a traditional attire representing the Dan, Yacouba, and Toura peoples from the mountainous western region of Côte d’Ivoire, along with an official CAD dodgeball. She also expressed her gratitude to the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo for the warm welcome extended to the CAD delegation from Côte d’Ivoire.

Speaking on the occasion, Didier Budimbu Ntubwanga praised the journey and achievements of the African Dodgeball Confederation in promoting dodgeball across the continent. He reiterated the interest of the Congolese Government in the development of sport as a vector for national unity, youth empowerment, and international cooperation. The Minister also encouraged initiatives aimed at increasing the visibility of the Democratic Republic of the Congo in African and international competitions.

The meeting took place in an atmosphere of cordiality, mutual respect, and constructive collaboration, marking a significant step forward in strengthening relations between the African Dodgeball Confederation, the Congolese Dodgeball Federation, and the sports authorities of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The President of the African Dodgeball Confederation (CAD), Mrs. Yao Marie Josiane, accompanied by an important delegation, arrived in Kinshasa at the invitation of the Congolese National Dodgeball Federation (FENADOC), led by Mrs. M’baki Djama Ariane, and the World Dodgeball Federation (WDBF).

This diplomatic and sporting mission includes institutional meetings, training sessions, a Dodgeball gala match, as well as the official presentation of the FENADOC national team.

This visit is part of the pan-African project “D4DA – Dodgeball For Development in Africa”, which aims to promote peace, social cohesion, community inclusion, equal opportunities, and climate resilience through Dodgeball.

The CAD delegation warmly thanks the diplomatic and institutional authorities, as well as the President of FENADOC and her Vice-President, for the fraternal welcome and support provided throughout this mission

La Fédération Ivoirienne de Dodgeball (FID) a le plaisir d’annoncer l’élection de Madame Yao Marie Josiane au poste de Présidente de la Confédération Africaine de Dodgeball, intervenue ce dimanche 15 février 2026.

La FID adresse ses plus chaleureuses félicitations à Madame la Présidente et lui souhaite plein succès dans l’accomplissement de sa mission, au service du développement et du rayonnement du dodgeball en Afrique.

Ce dimanche 08 février 2026, l’équipe d’Adjamé (Adjamé Dodgeball Club) était à Abobo pour un match amical contre l’équipe de ladite commune.
Un grand merci pour l’accueil chaleureux que nous a réservé l’équipe d’Abobo.
Le score à la mi-temps était de 10 points partout.
La seconde période a fait la différence et était en faveur d’Abob avec un score de 18 à 8.
Au final, Abobo Dodgeball Club 28 points 🆚 Adjamé Dodgeball Club 18 points.

Merci à nos athlètes d’Adjamé qui ont pu effectuer le déplacement et même ceux qui n’ont pas pu, ensemble on ira loin...Merci à L équipe D abobo pour cette Belle Rencontre Amical 🥰❤
