‼️‼️ Starting November 2024, a new training destination will open in the heart of Austria, offering enhanced options for every level of alpine ski racing. SOLAB GmbH, in collaboration with Ski Hohentauern - Sports Center Moscher, will manage sales and coordination.
The area boasts 12 kilometers of slopes (see attached map) that support training for Downhill (DH), Super-G (SG), Giant Slalom (GS), and Slalom (SL). With a maximum altitude difference of 550 meters, the slopes provide running times between 70 to 80 seconds for speed disciplines. Both technical and speed disciplines can be practiced across various topographical sections, ranging from easy to challenging, as well as more difficult sections for advanced training.
Training options include artificial and watered artificial snow slopes (from FIS to World Cup standards) for DH, SG, GS, and SL. Additionally, natural snow slopes are available for younger categories, including U16 to U10. Should temperatures permit snowmaking by mid-November 2024, GS and SL training (on watered slopes as well) will be available starting from November 2024.
The training center features spacious, lockable, and heated ski service rooms conveniently located right at the entrance to the training area.
Accommodation is available with a full-board option. The center itself offers around 60 beds, situated directly at the ski area’s entrance for easy access. Additionally, a range of nearby lodging options—including hotels, apartments, and private accommodations—can be exclusively arranged through SOLAB, ensuring convenient and comfortable stays for all participants.
