Fresh Tracks is a freeride school specializing in off piste training offering avalanche courses, guiding and coaching.
Fresh Tracks was created for snowboarders wanting to go steeper, deeper and further into the back country. Our philosophy is to guide snowboarders to new and exciting off piste terrain, challenge them technically and physically and teach them how to safely rip down those powder runs with style. We offer avalanche courses, guiding and on and off piste coaching. Fresh Tracks is based in Verbier which is very well known for its off piste terrain. Verbier has a huge variety of off piste ranging from huge open bowls to the extreme steep and narrow making it a perfect mountain playground for some of the best freeriders in the world. Verbier also hosts one of the steepest off piste competitions in the world, the Verbier Extreme, which is the 5th and final event of the Freeride World Tour. Fresh Tracks was established by Andre Israel aka Dre who discovered his passion for snowboarding 23 years ago and has to date spent 21 seasons in the mountains. Dre has been coaching and guiding now for fourteen years, thirteen of which were spent in Verbier. During those years Dre has achieved his top Swiss, French and English snowboard qualifications which has helped him to expand his knowledge on the many different styles of riding. Dre has also become a permanent resident of Verbier and now one of the very few off piste snowboard guides there. Fresh Tracks is a new snowboard school in Verbier that specializes in off piste lessons for beginner or experienced riders. We offer private coaching, mountain guiding and group courses throughout the season. Group courses are 1, 2 or 4 days long depending on the course and run with 3 to 6 riders. We also accept mixed groups of skiers and boarders or skier only groups for guiding or for our avalanche safety camp. For those pre season enthusiasts private coaching is also available during the month of November in Tignes, France.
