I needed a little time before writing about this World Cup in China 🤍
Going to China has been one of my biggest dreams for such a long time, so being able to go there for a World Cup made it feel even more unreal. If someone had told me a few years ago that I would travel across the world to compete, I probably wouldn’t have believed it !
I finished 13th in Solo Free. Of course, it wasn’t exactly the result I had hoped for, and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little disappointed. I know I was capable of more. But sport also teaches you that numbers and rankings never tell the full story.
What I’m most proud of is everything that happened before that number: the progress I made this season, the work behind it, the challenges and everything I learned along the way.
When I arrived in China, I felt ready. I felt good with my solo, my choreography and with myself. For once, I wasn’t focused only on scores or rankings. I knew that no matter the result, I was proud of the work I had done. I could simply enjoy being in the water, performing and living the experience. Honestly, that feeling meant more to me than any number could.
A huge thank you to for every effort, every early morning practice and for believing in me throughout this journey 🙏🏻
Thank you .michel_ for Colombia, China, all the training camps and all the memories we created together. Thank you as well to my teammates, and everyone who contributed to this season 🫶🏻
Most importantly, thank you to my parents for giving everything so I could live these experiences and travel as much as I did this season ❤️
Thank you as well to , and my sponsors for supporting me throughout this journey.
This season brought challenges, new opportunities, adapting, learning and growing. Looking back now, I can honestly say I have absolutely no regrets.
Now my eyes are already looking ahead. New goals, new projects and hopefully new surprises for next season 🔥
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this incredible journey !
