With Nepal in Our Hearts 🙏

I am deeply devastated by the tragedy unfolding in Nepal. In moments like this, we are reminded of the immense power of nature and how small we are in its presence.

On behalf of the International Yoga Sports Federation (IYSF) and all our members around the world, we extend our deepest condolences, prayers, and heartfelt support to everyone affected by this disaster.

May those who have lost their lives rest in peace. May the injured receive strength and care, and may the families who are suffering find courage and support during this heartbreaking time.

Though we cannot control nature, we can stand together as human beings—with compassion, unity, and love.

IYSF stands with Nepal. Our hearts and prayers are with you. 🙏🇳🇵

In my point of view, Yoga Asana has always been rooted in a larger vision and in the rich heritage of India. Yoga is one of India’s greatest gifts to the world—a timeless tradition that teaches us discipline, self-awareness, respect, and connection. Competition should never divide yoga; it should inspire us to grow, to honor one another, to build friendship, to pursue excellence, and to create unity. Through Yoga Asana as a sport, I believe we can honor the roots of this ancient tradition while allowing its values to reach and inspire people across the world.
