NO!!
Such a simple two letter word - that many of us struggle to use. We are afraid to disappoint, hurt someone's feelings, get judged, miss an opportunity or simply be left out from a community we wish to be part of.
Recently I had to make a difficult decision. Do I repeat of investing the effort to organize a successful retreat in the Red Sea? Or do I conserve my energy to focus on smaller more manageable activities closer to home? The battle of the two voices in my head: "You can rock this again!" and "Remember how stressed you were!"
So I chose NO!
Now I feel relieved, and so happy and thankful I was able to say NO, because with that... I said YES to me. It's such a key part of resilience to prioritize, and focus your limited energy.
A tip... if you don't want to say no... try "No, not today" - it doesn't feel as final.
