Dear Language Teachers, have no fear. Liberating our jobs from money will not happen today. What MUST happen today is our ability to flip the system and be able to
- live the joy of sharing our knowledge,
- make people move forward,
- leave competition with AI but enjoy its advancements,
- bring people back to live learning,
- take them off the screen and out of their homes into social activities,
- show them the beauty of the world and healthy relationships,
- give our knowledge to as many as possible, so that they can learn better, read more, build better homes and roads, create happier families, make greater movies, inspire others.
To be able to do so, we need to remove money from the education TODAY.
But not from our salaries! As long as this world will ask us to pay for being alive, we will need to adapt and find ways to survive.
And not only to survive. Who wants to deal with a teacher who is surviving? Who wants to learn from the teacher who is tired and exhausted? From the one who is trying to make ends meet every month, without the joy of life and with no spark of inspiration? We don't want that for our learners.
We are the ones to be thriving on our passion to teach and share knowledge!
We deserve not less that people who produce money from money, with no added value for society. While at the moment, unfortunately, the system protects those who make money survive.
Just think, money has become an artificial intelligence that fights tooth and nail for its own survival! But we don't see it. We honor the financial sector as if it's our god, while millions of people have no access to knowledge, education, information, software, technology, healthcare or even jobs!
We accept and adjust to whatever social media says we need to do, to get organic growth. Nobody questions: why should be we daily be feeding the tools that work against us? Why don't we eliminate advertising that is an artificial bubble that, again, makes money from money that lands in the pockets of the 3 biggest corporations? Why are you then complaining you don't have the money?
We listen carefully to LinkedIn experts and Google experts, and Meta experts so that we could "adjust" our behavior to the new algorithms. That keep us and our children addicted to screen, by posting and liking as much as possible? Do we still have any ability to think for ourselves??
Well, the solution? There is one. You know where our salaries are, don't you?
It's time to claim them from those who have no more time, passion or minor interest to develop, because they have it "all": they have money.
Our new work model will unveil the real interests of those who rule the world. We will find those who truly care about our society. Those, in fact, who are truly smart! Because understanding that the world can develop only when we are all developing, does not require a stratospheric IQ, but just some common sense.
