***This month marks ONE YEAR since we opened the doors of the House of Zoukies… and what a journey it has been.***

Over the past year, this space has held dance classes, ceremonies, workshops, trainings, concerts, meditations, temples, community gatherings and so many beautiful authentic human moments. It has become a living space of connection, expression and transformation… and that is only possible because of all of you!

Now it feels like the perfect moment to come together and celebrate this milestone as a community. 🌿

This gathering will be relaxed, playful and heart-opening.

Throughout the afternoon we’ll share live music, guided singing, movement and simple moments of togetherness. You do not need any dance or singing experience to join… just come as you are.

We have a beautiful line-up of musicians and facilitators who will guide us through the journey and help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all ages.

For me personally, this day feels especially meaningful. My son will be joining, and my Mum is visiting from the UK, which makes it deeply special to be able to share this space and show her what we are creating together here in Bern. ❤️

Next Monday 27th April we start the new Level 1a Beginner Zouk course.

If you’re new to dance - or have been dancing Zouk on and off for some months… now is your chance to really understand and embody how the dance feels.

In Level 1a there are 4 key movements to learn:
- backward turn
- lateral
- viradinha
- basic step

Once you have learned these 4 steps and can mix and match them in any order… then you’re ready for Level 1b classes
