“What others touch only in altered states, we feel daily.” 🌿

Speaking at Global Psychedelic Week 2025 reminded me how deeply belonging matters in psychedelic care.

Neurodivergent — or as I like to say, neuroexpanded — women live with thinner filters. We sense more. Feel more. Perceive more.

Psychedelics, when held with safety and reverence, can help transform that constant flood of perception into coherence — and guide us home to a deeper inner belonging.

True inclusion isn’t about protection. It’s about recognising difference as intelligence.

🌿 Be(long)ing – A Spring Retreat for ADHD Souls (2026)
where sensitivity meets soil, and the self exhales

In a world that races,
we walk slow.
In a world that fragments,
we weave.

This is not a productivity bootcamp.
It’s a homecoming.
For minds that wander,
for hearts that ache for resonance,
for bodies that whisper,
I’m tired of pretending.

Spring 2026
We gather.
We regulate, recalibrate,
remember how it feels
to belong – in our skin,
in stillness, in each other.

🌸 Be(long)ing isn’t just a place.
It’s a practice.
And you’re warmly invited.

🌀 Rest that doesn’t look like rest.
For years, I believed I was simply “bad at resting.”
Too restless. Too wired. Too full of thoughts.
But the truth is: I was trying to rest like someone I’m not.

If you have an ADHD brain or a body shaped by stress and sensitivity, rest might not be quiet. It might not be still. It might not be photogenic.

It might look like movement. Music. Mess.
Like rocking, pacing, crying, humming.
Like turning off your phone and tuning into yourself.

In my newest blog post, I share a personal moment — a day when everything looked peaceful on the outside… but inside, my mind was racing.
What I learned about redefining rest changed how I care for myself.

💬 What’s your un-aesthetic, gloriously real version of rest?

Ever felt like you’re performing at work just to seem “normal”?

That’s masking.

It’s when we suppress parts of ourselves — our movement, our voice, our sensitivity — just to get through the day. To keep our job. To be “easy.”

But masking isn’t sustainable. It’s exhausting. It chips away at our self-trust. And it keeps us from being seen in the ways we actually need.

This post breaks down what masking really looks like in everyday work life — and why it matters more than most people think.

If you’ve ever left work completely drained without knowing why… this might be it.

You’re not too much. You’re not alone.
And it doesn’t have to stay this way.

- Was bewegte sich in dir?

ADHDers have an interest-based motivational system. It means our brains release dopamine, not for things that are objectively important, but that MATTER to use deeply.

Most of us have probably encountered the Eisenhower Matrix, originally developed to help prioritise.

I adapted the matrix to actually work with an ADHD brain 🧠 One axis showing urgency, the other emotional weight.

I love especially the 'slow bloom 🌱' and 'quick & dirty 🧯' options? Why?

We tend to overwhelm ourselves with the things we are passionate about by wanting it all now. But we are allowed to indluge in slow pleasure 🐌 and to deeply nourish ourselves in the process. The joy of experiencing your own slow growth or that of a project can be deeply fulfilling. Think of a bag of your favourite treat.
Each day, you take a bite and immerse yourself in a joyful moment. Eating it all in one sitting may cause nausea 😵

Quick and dirty is great because it reminds our adhd brain to dial down the perfectionism. It's enough that we are perfectionists in the things that DO matter to us, 50 to 80% is more than enough for things we don't care about.
Done is better than perfect!

What do you think about this? How do you prioritise tasks? Do you dwell on projects you no longer love?

The ADHD brain: A whirlwind of brilliance and burnout. ✨🌪️

We're often told about the challenges of ADHD – the focus struggles, the time blindness, the emotional rollercoaster. But let's talk about the flip side: the incredible surge of ideas, the bursts of creativity, the passion that ignites like wildfire. 🔥

We're idea generators, problem solvers, and out-of-the-box thinkers. We see connections others miss, and our minds race with possibilities. It's exhilarating!
..Until it's not. 😩

That same intensity that fuels our brilliance can also lead to burnout. We chase every idea, dive into every project, and forget to come up for air. The line between passion and exhaustion blurs, and suddenly, we're running on fumes.

The hyperfocus that helps us create can also make us neglect self-care. The thrill of a new project can overshadow the need for rest. And the fear of losing that spark can keep us pushing, even when we're running on empty.

It's a delicate balance: harnessing our creativity while protecting our well-being.

So, how do we navigate this polarity?

* Recognize the signs of burnout: Fatigue, irritability, brain fog, loss of interest.
* Set boundaries: Learn to say "no" and prioritize self-care.
* Find sustainable systems: Break down tasks, use timers, and build in breaks.
* Celebrate your wins AND your need for rest: You're not a machine.
* Embrace the ebb and flow: Creativity comes in waves.

Let's acknowledge the brilliance AND the burnout. We are not just our struggles, and we are not just our strengths. We are a complex, beautiful mix of both.
