📌 End Of Season 2025-2026

We wrapped up the season on Thursday and yesterday with amazing exam sessions, and we're already feeling nostalgic about training together!

The entire Dojang did a fantastic job. Truly incredible. Our new white belts blew us away with their skills and techniques, while our experienced students impressed us with their coordination, technique, attitude, focus, and determination to push beyond their limits.

We were absolutely BLOWN AWAY!

This Dojang means everything to us, and we are proud of every single student who continues to grow year after year. With more than 60 years of combined Tang Soo Do experience gathered in this Dojang, we can honestly say that these students and this community in Baden never cease to amaze us.

Kids, teenagers, adults, women, and seniors: every one of them is unstoppable.

Here's to another successful year and many more to come! We love you, Euro Tang Soo Do Baden. ❤️🇨🇭

📌 BBQ & Outdoor Training

Last Sunday, we celebrated our annual BBQ and outdoor training session to mark the end of the season!

It was another fantastic opportunity to train together, share great moments with friends, and enjoy the beautiful weather with our students.

The Dojang is a place where everyone should feel comfortable and at home, and once again, it was a great success!

Thank you to everyone who joined and contributed to making it such a memorable day.

📌 A First Grading For The Karate U7

Last Tuesday, we held our very first grading exam for our U7 Karate class (Tang Soo Do for children under 7), a program we launched this February - and we encountered an incredible success!

The kids were absolutely fantastic!

They were on fire!

At the young age of 4 to 6 years old, we were amazed by their discipline, concentration, and technical skills. Just a few months ago, none of these children had ever practiced Karate before.

Watching them perform with such focus and determination was truly inspiring: this fire in their eyes full of determination, listening carefully to every instruction, eager to do their very best... we just loved it!

We couldn't be prouder that they are the future of Tang Soo Do!

📌 Happy Birthday, Kwan Ja Nim Metaxas

Today, we celebrate the birthday of Kwan Ja Nim Anastasios Metaxas of Greece.

Over the decades, he has trained generations of martial artists in Greece. Many who stand today as Masters do so thanks to his guidance and trainings.

He continues to be actively present within Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan (ITSDF), supporting former students while guiding new generations with the same passion and generosity that have always defined him.

From Switzerland, we celebrate not only his birthday, but also the profound impact he has on our dojang and our students.

Χρόνια πολλά, Δάσκαλε!!

📌 Insights from our outdoor training last Sunday!

What a great idea it was to organize a BBQ and outdoor training session at our Tang Soo Do dojang. 🥋🌺🔥It was a wonderful opportunity to disconnect from our laptops and phones, enjoy the sunshine in good company, and of course… practice some Tang Soo Do!

📌 The New York (Swiss) Times

The last 10 days were filled with excitement and hard training, as our Tang Soo Do association had the honor of welcoming Kyo Sa Nim Chris Alexandrou ( #29361), visiting us from New York.

KSN Chris began his Tang Soo Do journey in 1984 with KJN Metaxas in Greece, training under him and alongside SBN Petra before moving to New York. As SBN Petra’s brother, his visit was especially meaningful, marking the first time he has visited her and our Dojang in Switzerland since its foundation.

This reunion was made even more special by the privilege of presenting him with his 2nd Dan Black Belt rank (ITSDF), following his successful examination here in Switzerland. Despite the distance and the challenge of finding a Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan Dojang in New York, KSN Chris never stopped practicing. After earning his 1st Dan in Greece, he continued his journey in New York with unwavering commitment, supported by the dedicated guidance of SBN Petra. Years of perseverance and effort were recognized and honored this week.

His inspiring story reminds us of what matters most in martial arts - and what is too often forgotten: passion over belts, resilience over easy recognition.

Tang Soo Do is tradition.
