Hope everyone is enjoying the tail-end of the Summer! For those looking for an update for our 2026-2027 Badminton Youth, Junior and Adult Season, we are still waiting to hear back from the city regarding our gym availability for the season. Once we have that information, we will be able to share registration, fees and schedule for the year!

It’s tournament weekend! The 3rd Annual Laurell and Ron Graf Badminton Open kicks off today at Sir John School at 5:30 p.m.

We welcome participants from across the NWT, as well as a special welcome to our friends from the Yukon Badminton Association who have travelled from Whitehorse to join us.

Good luck to all athletes, from the 5–7 year old athletes to those who are young at heart and still keeping their athletic dreams alive!

Come out to Sir John and enjoy a fun weekend of badminton.

Events include: Men’s & Female Singles, Men’s & Female Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.

Open: $35 for one event | $40 for 2 or 3 events*
18U / 15U: $15 for one event | $20 for 2 or 3 events
*3rd event subject to player availability.
