Summer camps at Lights Out Elite Training is done! Crazy how fast 5 weeks of camp goes 🤯⛹🏽‍♀️💨

Today was loads of fun! Lots of laughs, thumbs up, and even a sing-a-long party 🎤😂

One camper told some of our instructors that they “shouldn’t rely on singing as a career” 😂

A huge shoutout to Grace, Rachel, Caitlyn, and Margo for helping us out this summer and to AB and Julia for stopping in this week 😍 Most important shoutout goes to the athletes all summer! I cannot think of one athlete that didn’t want to get better or try their best 🥹🤩

We can’t wait to see you all in the future ⭐️👏🏽🏀

Wooohoooo super fun day 🥳👏🏽

The day started off with a SUMMER CAMP favourite! Human ROCK PAPER SCISSORS 🪨📝✂️ Once we do it once, everyone seems to request it 🤷🏽‍♀️ This game was loved by all of the different ages we had this summer!

Lots of passing drills and spin moves going on today ⭐️🌪We finished the day off with 2 great scrimmages!

Axewomen Julia Sylvester dropped in and we have her again tomorrow 👸🏼

Day 2….Complete ✅🙌🏽

We had a special guest drop in this week! AB from the Acadia Women’s basketball team stopped in to help our athletes out 🤩🔥

We tried lots of 2 ball drills today, 1on1 drills, and even worked up to a 5v5 scrimmage to end the day 👀⛹🏽‍♀️💨

Biggest group to end the summer 🤩🔥

Today our highlights were star passing, 1on1, and the sweet handshake Norah and Taleah had!!

We’re in for a big week this week! We have Rachel, Caitlyn, and Grace helping out! Hopefully we will see some Acadia Axewomen drop in as the week goes on 🏀💡🥶

All of our Grade 7-9 camps are DONE for the summer 🤩💡🏀

This group worked hard all week! Gym was hot and sweaty but we persevered and got the most out of the week 😁💪🏽

Check the last photo! We had to put the rim down mid-camp for a short second, and the girls didn’t hesitate to test out their dunking skills 🥶🤪🔥

Back at it next week for our last camp of the summer with the grade 4-6 squad 🥹❤️

The gym was filled with laughter today 😂🔥

Highlight of the day was 1on1! Everyone was all laughs trying to get their opponent to fall over the baseline during our drill 💪🏽💨

Lots of tennis ball work, spin moves, step throughs, etc!

Tomorrow is our last day, lots of competing and competition in the plan 🤩💡

Already halfway through camp this week 🤯💣

Day 1 and 2 did not disappoint!! We have a large group this week but that didn’t stop them from working hard and learning some new skills 💨🤩

Lots of 2 ball dribbling/finishing, wall dribbling, floaters, and 2on2 advantage 🏀💪🏽

It’s so great to have a gym filled with girls that have a “get better” attitude! It makes it so easy to coach, teach, and have a great time when that’s the case ❤️🥹

Such a great week! Today we focused on some compete stuff and also step outs and step backs 🏆🎒

What a fun day 🤩🔥

We worked a lot of new drills and had a lot of laughs 😂😎

Our first hour was basically only tennis ball related. We did dribbling with the tennis ball, passing, and even finishing (check out the videos on our Instagram page 😎)!!

We practiced our touch around the rim with spin finishing and some 1 on 1 to practice the moves we learned today. Our moves were: step through, spin cycle 🌪, and Kobe spin 🐍.

Tomorrow’s our last day, but I’m excited to see these athletes use these skills in their high school seasons 💡🏀🔥

Lots of fun with some challenging skills today. These girls never gave up and were willing to try everything with a smile 😃🔥 Mostly worked 2 balls for our dribbling and passing today 2️⃣
