๐ด A Quick Note About Thrive Equine Retirement Living & The Horseman's Hub
Over the past day we've received an overwhelming number of messages, comments, shares, and words of encouragement regarding Thrive Equine Retirement Living.
One thing became clear very quicklyโmany of you were concerned that Alex and I might be stepping away from The Horseman's Hub.
Let us reassure everyone:
๐ The Horseman's Hub is not going anywhere.
Alex and I remain fully committed to serving our customers and continuing to grow The Horseman's Hub. We are incredibly proud of what we've built together and deeply grateful for the support our customers have shown us over the years.
Thrive is not replacing The Horseman's Hub. It is a separate project inspired by conversations with horse owners about senior horse care, retirement living, and quality-of-life options for aging horses.
In fact, Thrive and The Horseman's Hub share the same foundation: listening to horse owners, identifying needs within our community, and working to create meaningful solutions.
To everyone who reached out concerned about the future of The Horseman's Hubโthank you. Your messages reminded us just how much this community means to us, and how much the Hub has become a part of yours.
For those who haven't yet seen the Thrive vision and are wondering what all the excitement is about, we've shared it below.
As always, thank you for your continued support.

Welcome to Thrive Equine Retirement Living.
Where horses simply get to be horses.
Thrive Equine Retirement Living was created from a simple belief: every horse deserves the opportunity to enjoy life with comfort, companionship, dignity, and purpose, regardless of age or ability.
The idea for Thrive did not come from a business plan. It came from watching horses grow older and seeing firsthand the challenges many owners face when trying to find quality long-term care for the horses they love. After welcoming back a horse I had sold nearly 20 years ago and hearing the concerns surrounding senior horse care, I began asking an important question:
"What would I want for my own horse?"
The answer was not a crowded boarding facility, a busy lesson barn, or a place focused on competition. The answer was a peaceful environment where horses could enjoy freedom of movement, companionship, natural living, individualized care, and the opportunity to simply be horses.
That vision became Thrive.
Situated on rolling pastures with hills, trees, natural water features, shelters, and open spaces to explore, Thrive is being developed as a retirement living community designed specifically for senior horses and horses transitioning into a quieter stage of life.
Our focus is on quality of life.
We believe horses benefit from appropriate herd interaction, room to move naturally, access to quality forage, individualized feeding programs when needed, and knowledgeable daily management. Every horse is different, and their care should reflect that.
As Thrive grows, we will continue developing the property with additional paddocks, shelters, infrastructure improvements, and future enhancements that support the health, comfort, and well-being of our resident horses. This is a long-term vision that will be built thoughtfully and carefully, always putting the horses first.
Through our connection with The Horseman's Hub, owners will also benefit from convenient access to feed, supplements, blanket services, and other equine products and support services that can help simplify horse ownership and ensure their horses receive consistent care.
Looking ahead, one of the most meaningful additions to the property will be the Thrive Legacy Gardenโa peaceful space dedicated to remembering the horses who have touched our lives and left lasting hoofprints on our hearts. Because every horse has a story, and every horse deserves to be remembered.
At Thrive, we are building more than a place for horses to live.
We are building a community centered around respect, compassion, quality care, and the belief that a horse's later years should be among their very best.
Thank you for following along as we bring this vision to life. We look forward to sharing our journey, our progress, and eventually welcoming horses and owners who share our belief that retirement should be a time to thrive.
