📣 SHOW DAY REMINDERS – Sunday, July 26 at WEC! 🐴
Hello WECADORA riders, coaches, and supporters!
We’re so excited to welcome you to our fourth show at Windsor Equestrian Centre. Here are some last-minute reminders to help keep the day running smoothly:
Show starts promptly at 9am
🕗 Ride Times: Thank you Mary McCarthy for tweaking the order of go. She has done her best to run the classes of each division together but sometimes that just does not happen. It’s a show day. Be prepared to spend the day. Make the best of it regardless your assigned time.
Check your ride times.
Please be ready at your ride time. Please do not go out of order unless ok’d by show management.
➡️ Riders may only be in the ring at their designated time. If they are the next rider to go in the 20x40, they may wait in the ‘square’ outside the ring.
➡️ All others must remain in the designated warm-up area or outside the ring.
Sticking to times helps the show flow smoothly, thank you for your cooperation!

🌿 Facility Etiquette
✅ Stay on the paths – no riding on the grass. ⭐️NEW:You may hand graze your horse in the designated grassy area behind the trailer parking⭐️
🚫 Do not use the round pen or WEC equipment without permission
⭐️NEW BONUS ⭐️this show: WEC has graciously offered the use of their new outdoor wash racks..when you are done competing and/or to cool off your hot horse..please be respectful, share and clean up after yourselves! Do not leave your horse there unattended. It’s for bathing not tacking up. Be courteous and don’t ruin this opportunity for everyone.
🙏 Please respect the venue, organizers, and each other.
👚 Attire Reminder
✔ Riders: Helmets, proper boots, show attire (including jackets as discussed at the General Meeting)
✔ Helpers , grooms, parents, students: Appropriate footwear and attire required when handling horses. No sandals or open toed shoes.
⭐️IMPORTANT:⭐️Show days are long..Wear a hat and sunscreen. If you are trailering in, you may consider bringing an umbrella for shade. You can set it up in parking lot if there is enough space to accommodate or on the grass behind the parked trailers. ⭐️Bring a foldable chair so you can sit while you wait between classes. We cannot and will not have everyone standing holding horses inside. It gets too congested and becomes a safety hazard.
⭐️If you would prefer a stall to rent, you can contact Lindsay or Xavier at WEC directly and book with them -subject to availability and the cost is your responsibility.
⭐️Make sure you and your horse stay hydrated. Don’t forget your fly spray! Always put the horse first!
☠️Absolutely No alcohol or drug use.
🧹 Clean Up
Please pick up after yourself and your horse.
Garbage bins & muck buckets are located around the grounds, including trailer parking.
-Warm-Up Area: for safety’s sake, limit of approximately FIVE at a time. Be courteous so everyone gets a chance to warm up. Numbers must be worn at all times.
Use only the designated warm-up ring(the small indoor arena) No humans on foot in warm up unless you are the leader for a lead line competitor or helping rider with a leg up or at mounting block. Coaching permitted from outside the warm up only.
☕ Snacks & Concession
Available thanks to our friends at WEC! Thank you!
💬 Show Day Spirit
Be positive and encouraging to all.
Remember, a smile, a kind word, or a simple 'thank you' can make someone’s day.
We have some more new competitors this show! Make them feel welcome and help show them the ropes!
Let’s make this another amazing day of dressage, community, and sportsmanship. Best of luck to all competing tomorrow. See you at the ring! Show starts at 9am!!
