Special Announcement

Williams Lake Stampeders 2026–2027 Season

It is with heavy hearts that the Williams Lake Stampeders announce that we will not be participating in the Central Interior Hockey League (CIHL) for the 2026–2027 season.

After careful consideration, many conversations and countless brainstorming sessions, we have made the difficult decision to step away from the league this season due to a shortage of players and sponsorship support.

This decision was not made lightly. We have always taken pride in putting the best possible team on the ice for our fans, sponsors and community. Unfortunately, this year, we are simply not in a position to do that.

We want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible fans, generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers and everyone who has supported the Stampeders. Your loyalty, hard work and commitment to hockey in Williams Lake mean more to us than words can express.

We will be reaching out to our sponsors individually in the coming days.

While this is not the announcement we had hoped to make, we are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our hockey community.

Thank you for standing behind the Stamps. 💚💛

💚 LOCAL SUPPORT. LOCAL PLAYERS. LOCAL PRIDE. 💚

Throughout the season, you’ll see us giving shout-outs to the local businesses who help make Williams Lake Stampeders hockey possible. The truth is, we truly couldn’t do this without them.

Did you know that many of our Stamps players are from right here in Williams Lake? They live here, work here, support their families here, and have grown up playing hockey in our community and surrounding areas. When you support the Stamps, you’re supporting local hockey and local people.

And one of the biggest ways YOU can support us? Come out to the rink! Buy a ticket, bring your family and friends, cheer loudly, and help create that Stamps game-day atmosphere.

📣 THIS WEEK'S SPONSOR SHOUT-OUT: PROGRESSIVE PRINTERS

We want to give a huge thank you to Progressive Printers for their continued support of the Williams Lake Stampeders!

They’ve brought some exciting new pieces to the season, including our brand-new game tickets, 2026–27 calendars for your fridge, and a beautiful new game sign for the arena.

We’re pretty excited about how everything turned out!

Thank you, Progressive Printers, for supporting local hockey and helping us get ready for another season!
