Deep in the Yukon bush, I set up a trail camera on a grizzly marking tree. 🐻

The grizzly came to scratch its back… but it wasn’t the only one using this trail.

Moose, caribou, wolverine, lynx and rabbits all passed by the same spot.

A Yukon grizzly using a scratching tree. 🐻 Nature's message board in the wilderness. Another amazing trail camera moment from the Yukon backcountry.

Happy to support the Yukon Fish and Game Association again this year.

I donated a wolf fur hat, a beaver hat, and a handcrafted belt for the 2026 Wild Game Banquet and Fundraiser. These items will be part of the silent auction.

Events like this are important for conservation and keeping traditions alive, glad to be a part of it.

A group of Rangers is currently on a 4,500+ km expedition across the Arctic.

Extreme conditions, cold and wind far beyond what most of us will ever experience.

One of the participants is out there using my mittens.

That means a lot.

When something you make is trusted in conditions like that, it says everything.

Wishing them all a safe and strong journey.
