Covid-19 Golf Thought -

With golf courses likely opening in the coming weeks, I really wonder if people’s appreciation and perspective for the game of golf will improve following this Covid-19 pandemic. Appreciate being outside on beautifully manicured grounds, appreciate the sounds, appreciate the company, and appreciate the challenge of executing quality golf shots.

I also wonder if an increased amount of appreciation and perspective might also improve people’s play 🤷‍♂️

Be safe everybody and look forward to seeing you soon!

It’s been so nice connecting with our athletes virtually over the last couple weeks. Most important in all of this is that everyone is healthy and keeping their spirits up. But from a golf perspective, it’s been so inspiring seeing athletes get creative with at home practice as they strive to improve in various ways. This is a difficult and crazy time, but we have more TIME than I can ever remember. Take advantage of that time and try to improve your: physical health, technical skills, mental skills, and social skills as we do our best to stay connected with family and friends 👍

Keep it up everybody 👊

We will be discussing ways in which we can turn our current circumstance of home isolation into opportunities to grow as golfers. We will explore fun and creative ways in which we can train at home. We are hopeful that courses will open up again sooner rather than later, and when they do let’s make sure we’re ready to play some great golf. Let’s get training!

During this crazy time where health and safely is priority #1, don’t let it prevent you from continuing growth on and off the golf course.

Yes indoor public spaces are closing and it’s still too cold for courses to open, however, that doesn’t mean you can’t:

- Develop/adjust/review goals for 2020 competitive season
- Get creative and practice indoors or outside on your back lawn (sorry moms)
- Workout/exercise
- Read a mental skills book

Embrace what we currently have. Spend time with family. Get creative with ways to make the most of your time. And most importantly be smart with social distancing and stay safe out there 👍

This video was sent to me by Nolan Pierce. Feel free to pass along any creative ways that are allowing you to still practice 😎
