The softest kayaking edit ever made

The water was low and the weather was good, so we decided to film a lap of the Upper Cheakamus & balls section! I personally hate finding songs for edits, and most kayaking videos are done to rap, so I decided to make the softest kayaking edit ever. The kayaking isn’t wild and the song is super slow, but it kept me busy. It also reminded me my laptop is fried so here’s to a slow edit and a new laptop in the pipeline!

Today’s very successful little mission into the middle green! This run seems to hardly get run, and there isn’t a massive amount of info on it considering it’s just on the edge of whistler! One portage and a bit of weaving around wood but that’s all part of the fun! Archie demonstrates in the 4th photo just how hydrophilic he is!

And so it begins! We’ve been a bit quite over winter, but there should be a pretty steady flow of content coming now that the rivers are rising! Archie is ripping in the RPM as usual, managed to sneak in two laps on the Callahan today but it’s definitely on the low side!

As the North American paddling missions get snowed out of the realm of possibility, the fullas managed to nab a couple of slides before examining their distinct lack of legs coming into the ski season.

Next time we shall race.

Slightly saltier than the normal glacier melt of of BC, the skook wave is a pretty weird and wonderful feature. Drone in hand we’ve got an edit heading your way!
