First day back to school today, and we have the night off at Little with the Tillsonburg Outlaws

🏁 Tough Night at Little Middleton 🏁

Not the night we were hoping for with the Tillsonburg Outlaws

Tonight’s feature got off to a rough start, with Grayson getting caught up in another first-corner pileup. He managed to keep going, but unfortunately the kart wasn’t completely unscathed, and it ended the night for a couple of the other involved karts.

Despite the damage, Grayson was trying to salvage the night and was working his way through the field when, later in the race, he was run over again, this time by one of the same karts causing many of these issues.

It’s becoming increasingly frustrating to watch the level of dirty driving at Little Middleton this season. We’ve seen a lot of cars getting torn up this year, and unfortunately it seems the driving continues to escalate without much consequences .

We know racing is racing, and we’re not expecting everyone to give each other an extra lane. But there’s a difference between hard, competitive racing and repeatedly putting other drivers and equipment at unnecessary risk.

At some point, something has to change.

We’ll fix the kart, regroup like we always do, and come back next week ready to race.

🏁🏁🏁3 IN A ROW!!! 🏁🏁🏁

UNBELIEVABLE!! Grayson just picked up his 3rd consecutive win with the Ohsweken Speedway Outlaw Karts, and it definitely didn’t come easy!

Last night at Ohsweken presented some challenging track conditions.

Grayson qualified to start 7th in the feature and ran much of the race lingering just outside the top 5.

With only a hand full of laps to go, an incident involving the leaders shook things up and opened the door for Grayson.

He had a great battle with Speck in the #4, making a move on the inside to take that position. He then had another hard-fought battle with Everett Burbridge in the #02, this time on the outside.

Coming to the white flag, Grayson made his move and took the lead from the # 64x to make it 3 straight wins!!! 🏁🏁🏁

We couldn’t be more proud of how far Grayson has grown as a racer this season and of all the success he’s had. None of it would be possible without the incredible support from all of our sponsors, family, friends and fans!

We’re looking forward to carrying this momentum into next Tuesday with the Tillsonburg Outlaws!

🏁 1st, 2nd, 4th!! Solid night!! 🏁

Last night we raced at Little Middleton with the Tillsonburg Outlaws

Grayson had a really solid and uneventful night. He picked up the Heat 1 win, then led most of the 2nd Heat before falling back to 2nd in lapped traffic right at the end.

In the feature, Grayson settled into 4th and spent most of the race running comfortably in that position. He had an opportunity to challenge for 3rd, but decided not to force the issue and brought it home clean.

It was a great night for the big picture and we’re happy to come home with the kart in one piece and nothing to repair. 🏁

Now we’ll turn our attention to OHSWEKEN SPEEDWAY on Thursday!

WIN #2 AT OHSWEKEN!!! 🏆🏆

TWO IN A ROW!!!

What a way to answer back after a tough Tuesday night at Little Middleton!

After celebrating that elusive first Feature win at Ohsweken last week Grayson has now backed it up and won TWO STRAIGHT!!! 🏁🔥

And as incredible as those two wins are, they’re only part of what has made this season so special.

As we head into the last month of racing this season, Grayson has now collected 6 Feature wins this season between Little Middleton and Ohsweken — which is an amazing accomplishment.

But as proud as we are of the wins, we are even more proud of the person behind them.

This season has challenged Grayson in so many ways. He has faced adversity, bounced back from tough nights, learned from mistakes, and continued to push himself to become a better driver.

We’ve watched his confidence grow. We’ve watched his race craft develop. We’ve watched him learn how to be aggressive when he needs to be, while continuing to race his competitors cleanly and respectfully.

And that hasn’t gone unnoticed.

He has earned the respect of so many people in the racing community, and he has represented himself, his family, his sponsors, his competitors and everyone who supports him in a way that makes us incredibly proud.

There have been amazing races, frustrating nights, hard lessons, huge victories and moments where he has had to dig deeper than ever before.

Through all of it, he has continued to show determination, resilience, respect and character.

As parents, it’s hard to put into words how proud we are of him.

The wins are amazing. The trophies are pretty damn cool. But watching him grow, develop his skills, overcome adversity and become the driver and young man he is today means so much more to us than any checkered flag.

Four years of chasing that first Ohsweken win.

After the amazing run at Ohsweken last week, we were excited to carry that momentum to Little Middleton with the Tillsonburg Outlaws.

Unfortunately we didn’t have the night we were hoping for,
Grayson found the outside wall in heat 1 which bent something in the front end and he ended up finishing 10th.

I fixed it up the best I could for heat 2 where he finished 9th.

In the feature he got caught up in another lap 1 wreck but he was able to carry on the race and managed to hold onto a 6th place finish.

It was a tough night for us and we will spend some more late hours tonight to get ready for Ohsweken Speedway Outlaw Karts

Hopefully we can rebound on Thursday and have a good night.

Graysons last lap pass coming off corner 4 in a qualifying Heat race and got it just at the line. No one knew who won till after the race.
