MSGR. Bartlett Memorial Arena – Code of Conduct Reminder - February 19th, 2026.
The MSGR. Bartlett Memorial Arena would like to remind all patrons of our standards for respectful and professional behaviour within our facility.
As a recreation venue owned and operated by the Town of Wabana, our arena follows a Municipal Code of Conduct. We do not tolerate disrespectful conduct from anyone, including spectators, athletes, parents, executive members, officials, coaches, or staff.
Failure to comply with the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action which could include suspensions.
We would also like to remind all spectators that the use of vulgar or inappropriate language in this public space may result in removal from the premises. We understand that sports competitions can be exciting and, at times, frustrating; however, frustration does not justify disrespectful behaviour. Please be mindful of your language and actions, as this is a public facility where children of all ages are present, and it is intended to be a safe, welcoming environment for everyone.
Over the past several years, we have observed instances of this behaviour involving various individuals. This notice is not directed at any specific person or group. We encourage coaches and parents to serve as positive role models for young athletes and to help promote a culture of respect both on and off the ice.
