I’ve recently completed my first recording session for the audiobook of Truths & Contradictions.

Hearing these stories spoken out loud brings a different kind of reflection. It allows me to revisit moments with a new perspective and a deeper appreciation for the journey.

When I wrote Truths & Contradictions: Life-Changing Experiences in Afghanistan, it was not simply about sharing experiences. It was about making sense of them.

Living and working in Afghanistan exposed me to realities that challenged my assumptions, deepened my perspective, and reshaped how I understand people, leadership, and resilience.

This book is for those who are navigating uncertainty, those seeking clarity, and those open to seeing the world through a different lens.

Sometimes, the most meaningful growth comes from stepping into unfamiliar places and allowing those experiences to transform you.

I recently had the kickoff call with Twin Flames Studios and am now preparing to begin self-narrating Truths & Contradictions: Life-Changing Experiences in Afghanistan.

This process feels both exciting and stretching in new ways. Revisiting these stories and preparing to share them through voice adds a new layer of reflection and meaning.

There is a responsibility that comes with telling real experiences, and I want to honor that as I move through this process.

It has been one year since the virtual launch of Truths & Contradictions: Life-Changing Experiences in Afghanistan.

Looking back, I feel deeply grateful for the conversations, reflections, and connections that have come from this book.

This story was written for women navigating crossroads, for leaders seeking clarity, and for anyone curious about Afghanistan’s culture and lived experiences beyond the headlines.

What continues to mean the most is hearing how these stories resonate in different ways for each reader.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, read, and shared this journey.
