Most people don't need a better program. They need more consistency.

The basics aren't exciting.

Getting enough sleep.

Eating enough protein.

Training regularly.

Walking more.

Managing stress.

None of those things will go viral, but they're the habits that move the needle year after year.

The people who make the biggest improvements aren't usually the most talented. They're the ones who continue showing up when motivation fades.

Train. Play. Repeat.

Most adult hockey players spend years trying to improve their skating, conditioning, and performance on the ice, but very little time improving the physical qualities that actually allow them to keep playing long term.

Recreational hockey places a high demand on the hips, groin, lower back, conditioning systems, and overall movement quality. Over time, many players begin noticing stiffness, recurring injuries, reduced recovery, loss of explosiveness, or simply not feeling as good on the ice anymore.

That’s exactly why we created Play Hockey Longer.

This 90-minute interactive workshop will cover:
• Hip and ankle mobility
• Groin and adductor strength
• Single-leg strength and stability
• Power development and first-step explosiveness
• Conditioning for hockey performance
• Upper-body durability and trunk control

The workshop includes:
• Movement demonstrations
• Practical coaching strategies
• Hands-on drills and discussion
• A take-home Hockey Longevity Playbook

Designed for recreational and adult hockey players who want to continue playing and feeling good long term.

Strong hamstrings matter.

They support your hips, protect your knees, and play a big role in how you move, run, and perform.

Here are 4 hamstring drills we regularly program:

🦵90/90 Double Leg Hamstring Bridge

🦵90/90 Single Leg Hamstring Bridge

🦵Foam Roller Isometric Hamstring Bridge

🦵TRX Hamstring Curl

Start controlled. Focus on tension. Progress gradually.

Train with intent.

When something looks effortless, it usually isn’t.

It’s just been practiced enough that it looks that way.

Strength is built quietly.

Session after session.

Rep after rep.

There’s no shortcut around that.

Not sure what weight to use in your training? 🤔

You want to be challenged, while still leaving a few good reps in the tank.

The issue is, most people — especially if you’re newer — don’t actually know where that point is.

So every once in a while, on safer lifts like rows, presses, or other accessories, test it.

On your last set, push closer to failure and see how many reps you actually had.

You’ll often realize you’ve been working well below where you need to be 💪

That gap matters if you’re trying to train at the right intensity.
