We are an organization of ambitious students looking to impact our community through nutrition education in our local elementary schools!

This group is for all potential Nutrikids ambassadors! Help educate local elementary school children by applying your nutritional knowledge!Application for 2022/2023 is now open!About Nutrikids:Nutrikids is a nutrition education program for elementary school children. Through Nutrikids, we are able to teach children about the basics of nutrition so that they can start making smart choices about fo

od at an early age. In our simple nutrition workshops, Nutrikids ambassadors will introduce children to a healthy, active lifestyle including a balanced, nutritious diet; interested elementary school teachers have already signed their classes up for workshops. Volunteers will be asked to choose a few classes for which they will present workshops for. Training is provided by dietitians from the BC Dairy Association. This year we are newly sponsored by our very own LFS Faculty, Panela Lemon Stuffed Vegan Cookies and Red Crown Pomegranate Juice!

As a student-run initiative, our volunteers will have the opportunity to gain experience in nutrition education through facilitating nutrition workshops and working with elementary school students across Vancouver. ✨ If you are passionate about nutrition and/or working with kids, apply to get involved! ❤️‍🔥
