🚨 UCSL GAME WEEK – WEEK 15 🚨

The tournament is getting closer, the weather is getting hotter, and somehow everyone's hamstrings are getting tighter. 😅🥎

Here's what's on deck this Thursday:

🌱 Turf War @ Blue Bay Co.
📍 Bonner West

🍻 Happy Dad @ AFC
📍 Bonner East

💡 Vibe Illuminations has the bye this week, giving them the night off to:
• relax,
• enjoy a cold drink,
• and remind everyone, "We'll be fresh for next week."

This week's predictions:

✔ Someone will rob a hit with an unbelievable catch... then immediately ask, "Did anybody get that on video?"
✔ A routine ground ball will somehow involve three players and zero outs.
✔ Someone will hit a laser into the gap and spend the next five minutes catching their breath.
✔ At least one player will confidently yell, "One more inning!" after the game... from a lawn chair.

As the regular season heads toward the finish line, every at-bat, every catch, and every laugh with your teammates makes Thursday nights even better.

The Gloves In Game may be behind us, but now it's back to business... at least until the first inning, when everyone remembers we're still playing beer league softball. 🥎🍻

This week's matchups:

💡 Vibe Illuminations @ Turf War
📍 Bonner East

😎 AFC has the bye this week, which means they'll be:
• watching the standings,
• scouting their next opponents,
• and reminding everyone they would've made that catch.

This week's guaranteed moments:

✔ Someone will hit a "gapper" and immediately regret running that hard.
✔ A spectacular catch will be followed by an even more spectacular bat flip... on a routine single.
✔ Somebody will yell "CUT IT!" while nobody knows where to throw the ball.
✔ At least one player will arrive saying, "I almost didn't make it tonight," before playing all seven innings.

As the regular season winds down, every game starts to matter a little more—but let's not forget what UCSL is really about:

Here's how it works:

🧤 Everyone throws their glove into the middle.
🎲 Teams are picked randomly at the diamonds.
🤝 Everyone plays.
🍻 Everyone has a great time.

It's one of the most fun nights of the season and a chance to play alongside teammates you've never shared the field with—and maybe against your usual teammates for a change!

🌱 Turf War has the bye this week, giving them the perfect opportunity to:
• rest the knees,
• scout the competition,
• and remind everyone they would've turned that double play.

This Thursday's bold predictions:

✔ Someone will make a SportsCentre-worthy catch... then immediately throw the ball into the wrong base.
✔ A player will insist, "I can still beat that throw," and be out by about 15 feet.
✔ Somebody will forget the score, and somehow every team will have a different answer.
✔ At least one bat will be blamed for a bad swing. ("This thing's dead!")

Whether you're chasing first place or just chasing a fly ball in the outfield, Thursday nights are what summer is all about.

Another Monday means one thing...

You're only a few days away from convincing yourself that diving for a ground ball in a beer league is a perfectly reasonable life choice. 🥎🍻
