Wow! I am super proud stoked to see our little projects nominated for 9 awards!!! My bestie .nagazina and I had a blast over the last 2 years making 6 short films, 3 of which received nominations.
We love this province and the talented cast and crews that live here. We are committed to bringing MORE work to Alberta and we are only getting started. And yes we will eventually get an Azzume Productions webpage hahaha!

6 years ago I met my person. On my favourite day of the year. This picture is the only evidence and very terrible. He was dressed like a very sad clown. I was painted like a skeleton (swipe ➡️for pic).

My super pals and had encouraged me to get on tinder and put myself out there and boom 💥 I meet . Thank you hunks for pushing me!!

We met for a drink and the rest is history. It’s been an amazing, challenging, fulfilling and wonderful 6 years. We push each other to be better. We are each other’s biggest cheerleaders. We drive each other crazy. We have fun. We deal with the big s**t. And we enjoy the small stuff.

Here’s to the last Halloween being apart (aside from that fateful one 6 years ago) and I can’t wait to see what the next year holds for us. I love you Heath ❤️

Just two happy sisters helping each other through an exercise funk!!

Grateful for my weekly (almost) sister date where we catch up and work on our fitness. And for our gym mascot Dingo (swipe for pic).

I’ve been quiet on here lately (I know). I was hella busy and then I got home from BC and am in full rest mode!!

I won’t be down for long I promise. Just taking some time to charge my battery and fill my cup.

MY FIRST DOCUMENTARY FILM EVER IS DONE!

Now what the heck is it about?!?

“New Horizons is candid look the life of Olympian turned bobsled coach Heath Spence, as he lives in PyeongChang, Korea, amidst a global pandemic. Leaving his Calgary home behind, Heath joins the New Horizons program and leads a new generation of bobsled athletes from Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam towards their Olympic dreams at the 2022 Beijing Olympic Games.”

My partner Heath (yes the Heath in the doc!) and I made this film together using our phones and GoPro Hero 8, completely remotely (I was in Canada and he was in Korea) in 2 months! Oh and did I mention Heath is a totally newbie when it comes to filming?

SWIPE RIGHT FOR MY HONEST ADVICE ➡️

With the wave of closures over the last 15 months, maintaining a fitness routine has been very challenging for a lot of folks (me included). I know that some of you are feeling really frustrated and behind schedule. You had fitness some big fitness goals for 2020/21 and the pandemic was a major set-back.

👉 You are discouraged with the start-again-stop-again routine, and having a hard time starting up...again.
👉 Some of you may have stepped away from fitness all together.
👉 You may feel like you are standing at the base of a very large mountain...looking waaaaay up...not quite sure how to start climbing and you can't see the peak.

And now that the restrictions are lifted, you feel the pressure to dive in headfirst and make up for all the lost time, right?

❌ WRONG!! ❌

I can guarantee you that going hard out of the gate is a recipe for disaster. I have seen it time and time again with my clients. The all-or-nothing schedule leads to a big crash and burn. And then you are back to square one.

So, instead of overcommitting and crashing, let's try something different...

Let's increase our commitment to exercise next week by 1 hour.

Yep you heard that right.1 hour. TOTAL

👉If you are starting from scratch, I would suggest breaking it up into 4 x 15 min sessions or 2 x 30 min sessions. Fit it in where you can and choose an activity that you ENJOY! 

👉If you are already in a groove but still don't feel you are active enough, add an additional 1 hour activity session. This could be a gym day, a longer outdoor activity or a killer at home session.
