Since Saturday, October 17th, had to be canceled due to Mother Nature,
Buxton Speedways annual Adult & Kids Halloween Costume Contest, will be this Saturday October 24th!🎃 👻 (1) Adult & (1) Child will win a free general admission ticket for an event in 2027! 🎟️

$100 entry fee for 1 race
$150 entry fee for both (2) races.
If you register your Enduro Car or Bus in Both races,
the demolition derby is free. *

•School Buses Must Remove All Glass Windows.
The windshield is allowed. *

Unfortunately, due to the rain Buxton Speedway received throughout Thursday and Friday night, combined with the low temperatures continuing into today (Saturday, October 17th), the facility has not had enough time to properly dry out.

Although the racing surface is expected to dry out throughout the day, the rest of the facility will remain too wet, making it difficult to properly prepare and water the speedway as needed.

Our main priority is ensuring that all our race teams and fans have the best experience possible. With the cold temperatures and wet grounds, Saturday, October 17th’s race has unfortunately been Cancelled.

This Saturday, October 17th, marks the LAST RACE OF THE SEASON for all 5 of Buxton Speedway’s weekly divisions!

Let’s finish the 2026 season off strong with one last night of Saturday night dirt track racing! 🏁
