We would like to thank the Atkinson Family for their $1000 donation to Buxton Speedways Tilbury auto recyclers ODCC ThunderStocks!🏁

The $1000 was divided throughout the entire field for this Saturday September 5th event, “Joe Atkinson Memorial Night”

1st-3rd place will receive a $100 bonus
4th-5th place will receive a $75 bonus
6th-10th place will receive a $40 bonus
11th-15th place will receive a $25 bonus
16th-20th will receive a $20 bonus
21st-24th place will receive a $15 bonus

Extra awards:
$20 Longest Traveler (The Team that traveled the farthest.)
$20 Quickest lap time.
$25 Hard charger award.

YES THATS RIGHT! Race number 2 is set for this Friday at OHSWEKEN SPEEDWAY!

Racers from Brighton Speedway, BUXTON SPEEDWAY and beyond will join forces to put on an amazing show!

Late Model drivers! This is our time to put on a show for the fans! Race number 1 showed a great turnout of 25 cars! Let’s do it again!

Fans that can not attend can tune in LIVE ON

Unfortunately, due to the amount of rain we received earlier this week and last night, the infield has taken on too much water and will not have time to properly dry out.

The conditions are not suitable for teams to safely work in the infield, and for our safety team to properly do their job during the races.

With the safety of our drivers, teams, fans and safety crew being our top priority and severe thunderstorm and tornado risk throughout Ontario, Wednesday, September 2nd’s races are unfortunately Cancelled.

We appreciate everyone’s understanding and hope to see everyone back at the track on:

We want to take a moment to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all of the parents, families, and members of our community for every each and every backpack and school supplies that were donated,
As well as everyone who brought their kids, Power Wheels, and bikes out for our Kids Intermission Event! 🏎️🚲

This truly shows how tight the racing community is, it is not about being a driver, team member, or fan, Saturday August 29th was about seeing all the kids out there having fun, racing around, and making memories at the track was truly special. This is what racing and community are all about!🏁

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who continues to support Buxton Speedway and help us make these events possible.

Last year we received 17 back packs this year we received a 100+ backpack donations for Buxton Speedways backpack giveaway night!!🎒📚

From all of us at Buxton Speedway — THANK YOU! 🏁
