Dates and locations for this year's AGM and as well as a member pub night are now firmly set. Please note that the dates have changed since the original posting on this page:
TIDE AGM and Pub Night

Pub Night:

Date: Wed, April 10th
Location: Harbour Sports Grille, 10 Yonge St.
Time: 7pm

TIDE will be hosting a casual get together for anyone involved or interested in being involved with the island course. Come have a pint and we can review current projects, discuss future directions for TIDE, and nominate some executive candidates. This will also be a perfect setting to outline topics which need to be discussed more formally at the AGM. We hope you can make it.

TIDE AGM:

Date: Sat, April 27
Location: Fionn MacCool's Irish Pub (private room), 181 University
Time: 6pm

This years AGM will begin with a vote for the 2013 TIDE board members. Last year we reserved two spots for existing board members in order to keep some continuity with current projects. We received some scrutiny from our members about this format and in response we have opened up all 5 spots for election this year. Nominations for board positions will be open until Wed, April 24. This will allow 48hrs for the ballots to be completed and for proxy votes to be collected by any members not able to attend the meeting. Please nominate by posting here, or on our page (https://www.facebook.com/tidedg). Nominations must be accepted by the candidate before they will be put on the ballot. Self nominations are allowed and encouraged.

Membership will cost $25 and will include:
-A vote
-2013 Membership Tag
-Discount on TIDE fundraiser discs
-$5 off the TiO
-$5 Rebate from the TIML

Membership can be purchased at the AGM, from one of the current execs (Jon H, Scott J, Nao N, Kim SW, Mike M), or online.
