Lions Field Hockey Club is a non-profit sports organization, dedicated to the promotion of field hockey in the city of Brampton, Mississauga, Toronto and the province of Ontario. Lions FHC has been existence over 40 years, having been founded in 1974. During this time Lions has been and continues to be one of the premier clubs in North America. The team has won tournaments and leagues too numerous

to count over the years and strives to be the best. Many outstanding individuals have been valued members of the Lions as well. Extraordinary athletes who have represented Canada, India and Kenya at the pinnacle of the sport including the Olympics and World Cup. But most of all, the Lions are a family, brought together through a passion which burns inside us all.

This program is designed for athletes aiming to compete at the university and national team level, with a strong focus on technical development, game understanding, and high-performance training environments.

🏑🔥 What a day at our 1st Lions FHC Indoor Festival! 🔥🏑

A huge thank you to all the players, coaches, officials, volunteers, sponsors and parents who made the day run so smoothly. The energy, competition, and sportsmanship on display across all divisions made this a special event.

With four junior divisions in U8, U10, U12, and U15, it was an action packed day filled with great hockey and strong performances from clubs across the region!

Congratulations to all teams who competed! Lions FHC was proud to come out on top in the U15 division and secure wins in both the U10 and U12 test series matches. U8 teams put on a show battling hard as they learned the new sport! 🏆

This event showed the strength and promise of indoor hockey in Canada, and we are excited to continue building opportunities for young athletes to compete, develop, and grow the game. Our goal is to make this festival an annual tradition and expand it even further in the years ahead.

Thank you again to everyone who participated and supported. We look forward to seeing you all next year! 🦁

What an incredible day at Sports Day in Brampton!🏑

It was amazing seeing so many families come out excited to learn about Lions FHC's history, try a new sport and step onto the field with us.

Huge thank you to the City of Brampton organizers for creating a space that highlights growing sports clubs and supports youth in our community. The turnout showed just how much interest there is in strong and structured programs.

We’re grateful to all the parents who brought their kids to our info session and on-field trial, and a big shoutout to our Junior players who volunteered their time to teach the game and welcome future teammates. The future of Lions FHC is looking bright. 🦁

Come find us this Saturday, February 21 at Sports Day in Brampton at Save Max Sports Centre! Stop by our info booth to meet our coaches, learn about our programs, and discover why Lions FHC is one of the fastest-growing field hockey communities in the area.

Lions FHC swept the board at the Scarborough Cup with an outstanding performance across all age groups.🦁🔥 Every team brought intensity, confidence, and discipline, clearly reflecting the hard work put in at training.

Our rising star U8s shined in the 3v3 mini tournament with great energy and skill ⚡️

U10 were dominant, winning all games and tying one while showing excellent structure and control 💪

U12 went undefeated and captured gold with a big final win over the Titans 🥇

U14 Boys dominated their division, winning every game and closing out the gold medal match with a commanding 14–6 victory over OKD 🏆

U14 Girls (Abhiroop, Kudrat, and Justine) battled alongside the Titans team to gold in a thrilling shootout to win gold!

Huge thank you to for hosting an excellent tournament and providing a great stage for our athletes to compete. Lions FHC is excited to be back next year and continue growing the game!

Lions FHC is proud to support our very own Joshua Miranda as he represents Canada at the upcoming Junior World Cup in India in November. Our club community, including our masters and senior players, has come together to contribute $4,000 toward Joshua’s JWC journey, reflecting our continued commitment to helping our athletes compete at the highest level.

This effort highlights the strength of the Lions family and our dedication to developing the game through both our senior and junior programs. We aim to continue building a strong foundation that supports our players from the grassroots level to the international stage.
