In early 2012, Munenori "Mune" Kawasaki signed a minor league contract to play for the Seattle Mariners, largely because his hero, Ichiro, played there. The Mariners fanbase had no idea that they were getting the most wonderful person ever to step foot onto a baseball diamond. Within weeks of his entrance into the sport, he had grown men laughing in delight at his antics. He is now playing shortstop for the Toronto Blue Jays, and has created a new era of charisma and charm in Canadian Baseball.
