Leg day isn’t just about growing your legs, it plays a big role in fat loss too 🔥

When you train your lower body, you’re working some of the biggest muscles in your body (glutes, quads, hamstrings). Bigger muscles require more energy, which means you burn more calories during your workout and even after you’re done. That “after burn” effect adds up over time and helps with overall fat loss, not just in your legs.

Leg training also helps boost your metabolism. The more muscle you build, the more calories your body burns at rest. So even on your rest days, your body is still working for you 💪

If fat loss is your goal, skipping leg day is only slowing you down.

When you do resistance training, you’re creating tiny tears in your muscle fibers. Don’t worry, this is exactly what needs to happen! Your body notices something “wrong” and starts repairing these fibers, making them bigger, stronger, and denser than before. 🔥

That’s why it’s important to really challenge yourself during each workout. Push your muscles close to fatigue so your body has a reason to adapt and grow. This is how strength, tone, and density improve! 💥

Next time you train, make sure you push your muscles until they’re fully fatigued, that’s when real growth happens! 💯

Happy Easter weekend everyone 🐣🐰🌷💖

Whether you’re fully indulging or being a bit more mindful, both are completely okay 🤍 Holidays are meant to be enjoyed. If you want to feel good and enjoy the food, here are a few simple tips to find that balance:

* Swap dark meat for white meat if you’d like, lower in fat and both taste amazing
* Be mindful with heavy gravy & condiments.. they add up quickly. Try herbs, spices, or a little salt for flavour ☺️
* Choose sweet potato as a more nutrient-dense carb, or enjoy stuffing in moderation, both can fit!
* Load your plate with veggies 🥦 fiber helps with digestion and post-meal bloating
* Go for a walk after your meal as fresh air, better digestion, and quality time 🙌🏻
* If it’s more of a “finger food” day, put your food on a plate first instead of grazing, this helps you stay aware while still enjoying everything

A little insight 👀💖⬇️
Sugar + refined carbs (think chocolate, stuffing, potatoes, alcohol) can spike blood sugar, then lead to a crash… and more cravings later.

If that happens, add in some protein + water to help balance things out and keep you feeling steady ✨

I’m all for enjoying holiday meals with NO guilt or stress. And at the same time, a few intentional choices can help you feel just as good after as you do in the moment, it’s all about balance 🤍

And remember: one indulgent meal doesn’t mean you need to restrict the next day. Just get right back into your normal routine 💫

Moms, I want you to know that wanting to feel strong, confident, and comfortable in your own body does not make you selfish.

It makes you a woman who understands that her health and energy matter too. 🩷

Always remember that your progress does not have to be loud or dramatic to be meaningful.
