Beyond thrilled to announce this one, finally! Been tri-ing to keep it cool since last week.

For my 2026 triathlon season, I am joining the Supertri Ambassador Team with the goal of getting you to the starting line!

I cant wait to get started and bring Supertri to everyone here, and be part of the team at this year's Toronto Triathlon Festival and 10K TO in July!

I was fortunate enough to work with the team last year and getting to experience the event the day before with the world's best triathletes just makes me pumped to do it all again this year!

If you're thinking of trying a triathlon this year, let me know and we'd like to get you to the starting line!

Want to know more about Supertri? Reach out and let me know!

Another Saturday, another parkrun completed. This time as the Run Director, which thanks to all the other volunteers who show up week in and week out, made this role really easy... except the public speaking part pre-run, I'm going to need some practice there.

Budapest Park parkrun is Toronto's newest parkrun offering up a free 5k run, with anywhere between 50 and 100 runners and walkers. You get a time, a placement token, sweet treats at the finish line, and best of all a community to build your running journey with.

For those of you who are injured (like me) or just want to get involved, this is a great spot to volunteer who make this event possible every Saturday morning at 9am down next to the Palais Royale.

This week we had a few first timers to parkrun, a 50 run milestone runner, and a fella all the way from New Zealand 🇳🇿.

If you want to join our little community, check out parkrun.ca and register for your free bar code (for times and placements) and come on down to Budapest Park in the west end along the Lakeshore.

Its a fair question... especially if I can be faster...

With just enough strength left to publish this (thanks Lio), my 2025 training season has come to a close. Consider it a part 2 to yesterday's wrapped video (but with stats).

🏥 4x Injuries (one recurring)
🏅 2x Triathlons completed
📣 3x lost my voice cheering with the Run to Beer Howlers (and handing out beer) at races.
❌️ 1x DNS (injury related)
1️⃣ 5km PB
🍺 Beer Mile PB (yes, those count)
🚴‍♀️ Longest bike ride at 110km
💥 1 failed Niagara to Toronto ride
🏊‍♂️ Longest swim at 2,400m
🍪 and 🍕 consumed - too many to count.

And many more things that I have come to learn about myself! Even with the ups and downs of the year, I can now celebrate the small victories, but also know that current me, can easily take on the 20s version of me!

Bring on the new year!

It's been one heck of year for sure!

From starting my own business after getting let go from my corporate 9 - 5 job the first week of January, to flying home to celebrate milestone birthday for the first time in almost 20 years, cheering on thousands of you runners at Spring Run Off, TO Waterfront 10K, and then the TO Waterfront Half with the Run to Beer crew (and yes handing out beer every time), to completing my first 100km bike ride one casual Sunday morning in June. Also, cheering on my best friend complete the Manchester Half after I pulled out due to injury, sorry about that!

I officially become an Olympic distance Triathlete with the goal to come back even stronger for the 2026 season, thanks to a lot of physio, and coaching from Lio, who not only got me to the finish line with a strong finish, but more importantly got me to the starting line when I was seriously doubting myself. Let's just say July was a confidence crisis month for me (work and race wise).

I've started pushing myself to get out more too, which from this introverts perspective (yes, I am an Introvert), is very hard to do, but also just getting comfortable with going out and enjoying live music solo, or with friends, or trying new-ish activities like kayaking, skating, hyrox, became a band-wagon Blue Jays fan, and public speaking.

The lessons I've learnt from 2025 gives me hope for 2026 and beyond, and gives me something to look forward to as I navigate the final year of my 30s. So here's to you, 2025, you have taught me a lot about not just who I was, but who I am, and who I can become moving forward.

Cheers!

A new week and some news from little ol' me. I'm delighted to be joining the Athletic Brewing Ambassador Team.

If you've been following me for the last little while, you'll know that I've decided to cut back on my alcohol consumption while training. I came across at an expo for a race a couple of years ago, and enjoyed their non-alcoholic selection.

Since then, I've been enjoying them as a little bit of a post-race tradition, and I'm happy to be joining the team and representing them some more.

And for a slightly different view, the final 1.5km

Got two minutes? Sure you do!

Come run with me during the Mississauga 10k from Sunday.

Come and view my 10km run at x32 speed.
